Just a thought, I wonder if one of his devices had GPS coords to the place in the woods in Manorville where that box was buried and so they know the box is his and need to find things that match the box in the house?

Do you think this search is connected to the manorville searches recently?

I’m not too sure myself but it seems like quite the coincidence. I also wonder what they’ve found in RH’s residence that they hadn’t found in days of searches after he was caught?! I would love to hear some theories if anyone wants to share theirs here. This news has me freaking out and I’m just praying for more answers for any/every victim and family who’s been affected by this monster. I don’t have anyone to talk to about it 😵‍💫please let me know what y’all are thinking!!

Another possible victim?

Today was the first time I heard anything about missing Canadian Kimberly Ratushniak. Anyone else think she can be a possible victim? Supposedly she traveled to NYC looking for work as a nurse but hasn’t been heard from since early 2004. There isn’t much out there that I could find about her case or the friends she was with on NYE, but she’s just another woman that traveled to NYC looking for work to end up completely vanishing. I also find it odd that she only called from pay phones, but was supposedly staying at a nurses quarters on Long Island. Maybe she couldn’t find work and had to resort to sex work and didn’t want to tell her family/friends and crossed paths with LISK? Just a theory of mine. What do y’all think?

422 "Smart Devices" were recovered - What's on them?

The DA revealed that among the evidence gathered were 422 "Smart Devices" belonging to Heuermann:

The DA said all of the prosecution's documentation is being disclosed -- DNA, lab reports, background checks, including Heuermann's 422 smart devices seized during raids that were allegedly used to contact and research sex workers.

"Digital devices, so you're talking about phones, laptops, CDs," Tierney said.

-from an april 17 CBS story.

CD's are not used to contact people and I wouldn't call them smart devices. This number of "devices" seems huge. I have no doubt that some of this will be incriminating but also remember: Heuermann was an architect. Architects generate huge amounts of data in the form of 3d models, digital drawing sets, construction documentation, etc. Since some of this was from his office, it seems probable that some amount of this was from his professional work?

Does anyone have better info on what they collected?

I visited every crime scene from Tina Foglia to Lattingtown Jane Doe - this is my documentary

I have a true crime doc series focusing on unsolved serial killers that covers the story while revisiting each crime scene. I made two trips to Long Island to film every location associated or speculated with LISK, from Tina Foglia, John Bitrolff’s victims, Manorville, Ocean parkway, and ending at Rex Heurmann’s house.

Hs Anyone Here Heard of the Nassau County Serial Murders That Happened Between 1984 - 1989? Was there another serial killer targeting sex workers in the '80s?

Nassau County serial murders - Wikipedia

"The Nassau County serial murders were a series of murders of young women committed between 1984 and 1989 in Nassau County, New York. All the victims had been involved in prostitution or had drug addictions, and the perpetrator, a possible serial killer, was never apprehended.

These murders were the first possible instance of a serial killer operating in the Long Island area, as in the following decades, at least four unrelated serial killers were apprehended, collectively victimizing at least 32 girls and women.^([1])

The official list of victims includes five women. There was no consistent manner in how they were murdered, as two had been bludgeoned to death, one victim was stabbed, another was strangled, and yet another was shot.^([2)

  • Deborah Lee Smith, 20: originally from Quincy, California. Murdered in August 1984. Her corpse was found wrapped up in a blanket on August 21 near a curb on Hunters Avenue in Valley Stream. She had been shot twice in the head and chest area from close range, apparently with a large-caliber weapon.^([2])
  • Jonie Jackson, 27: murdered in early 1985. Her corpse, showing signs of moderate decomposition, was found in a parking lot on Franklin Avenue in Hempstead on February 18, 1985.^([2]) A forensic examination concluded that the cause of death was a head injury sustained in a beating. Jackson's body was covered in a plastic bag by the perpetrator after committing the murder.^([2])
  • Gwendolyn "Gwen" Lukes, 26: found strangled in a cemetery in Upper Brookville on September 13, 1985. At the time of her death, Lukes was known to have prostituted herself in the Hempstead area for about three years.^([2])
  • Genise Wilder, 22: originally from Roosevelt. Murdered in June 1989. Her body, bearing multiple stab wounds, was found on June 27 of that year in a factory area on Kellum Place in Hempstead.^([2])
  • Christine Warner, 23: originally from Manhattan, also known by the name "Tina Clark." Found beaten to death on December 13, 1989, in a wooded area near the Meadowbrook Polo Club in Old Westbury.^([2])^(")

Remains identified in Galloway

They identified the remains of Kevin Morris who was reported missing out of Staten Island I believe back in 2011. Well they found his remains 3 years ago and now they have been identified he would have been 32 at the time. I'm not sure if lisk is the same as the "Eastbound strangler" murders but it definitely looks like it could be related what does anyone think?

Tierney quote

Wow. Ok then. Did everyone notice what Ray Tierney added to that statement? Direct quote, Rex Heuermann and "other defendants yet to be named". Here comes the truth and probably a tsunami.

Colletti and Brennan

Hello all. I am trying to find out the exact times that Gus Colletti and Barbara Brennan each called 911 and what time each call ended. If anyone knows definitively and has links that would help a lot. TIA.

i'm convinced that there are more bodies on Ocean Pkwy. 15 miles of extremely dense bramble/brush and it hasn't been searched since 2011.

why are there not annual sweeps by small teams or something? like i don't get it, suffolk co PD are the highest paid cops in the US, & majority of it is just overpaid traffic cops, like solve some actual crime, pls.

like, get you a team of 5-10 traffic cops and have one supervisor who knows what they're doing, and a couple cadaver dogs, get some thick neoprene duck hunting waders so nothing can get in your boots and you won't get poked, leather gloves, go in the early spring (so you can't complain about the heat or the bugs). i thought cops were tough guys but all we ever heard was whining and delaying searching as much as they could.

Jacqueline Smith and Andre Isaac

Bittrolff once owned a home in Moriches, NY prior to 2003. Andres arms and legs were found in a plastic bag near a newly constructed home in Moriches near the Forge River in 2004. I wonder if Jackie's limbs and head could be there somewhere in the general area? Since their torsos were found 6 minutes from each other 2 years apart? Just a random pop of idea in my head.
