so i’ve been trying to find this particular tune for a few years now and i’m wondering if anyone knows what it is? linked a old youtube video that starts where the track begins. if anyone could help me find it i would be super grateful!
So I'm new to this sub, I just wanted to share this with you guys I'm watching this anime show called " 16 bit sensation: another layer and just wanted to confirm that this is what the actual game box cover art looks like
The rip I'm using is trash, but I just tested it to see if it worked. No stuttering, freezing, etc. Who needs the Switch version when you have this? ;)
I really want to get into the game but I don't know where to find it?
This has probably been done before, but I wanted to know peoples' opinions on the paths in Kanon. Which is your favourite?
You can separate anime from VN if you like.
For me:
Shiori > Ayu > Makoto > Mai > Sayuri = Nayuki > Akiko > Mishio = Kaori
I found Shiori to be my favourite, but it's very close between her and Ayu. I felt that their arcs were the most compelling and most emotional for me.
Makoto's arc was heart-breaking, although I have some reservations about how her path ended; that's why she's 3rd.
I really like Mai. The only reason why she isn't higher is because she feels like a carbon copy of the typical soft & silent kuudere character. I feel like Kotomi from Clannad was a kuudere character that was given more depth and a greater differentiation from other characters of that type than Mai got given.
Sayuri and Nayuki are pretty much on the same level for me. I understand that Nayuki has her fans, and rightfully so, but she personally sort of lost me during her depression phase. Sayuri, on the other hand, seems like a really pleasant character - very similar to Miyazawa from Clannad - but lacking a little depth.
Akiko is a great aunt to Yuichi and very reminiscent of Sanae from Clannad. She brightens every scene she's in with her effervescent demeanor.
Mishio and Kaori are pretty much throwaway characters in my eyes. Their purpose as characters mostly comes down to laying the foundation for other characters' arcs (Mishio for Makoto, and Kaori for Shiori). I don't dislike them (well, maybe Kaori a little, since I'm not a fan of her initial coldness towards Shiori).
Maybe my playthrough of the VN will change my ranking. I've just started.
Coincidentally, Ayu and Kaori's Japanese voice actors are included in the cast.
Just finished this VN and fucking loved it. The snow theme, the progressive states with Ayu (which I played last as should), and I liked all routes. Maybe Nayuki's route was a bit simpler than the rest but she stands by being Nayuki anyway.
It feels like it was too short, I wish there were more. But that just means that what was in itself was very good. I'l miss reading it a lot. I had a hard time reading the last chapter because of that. Sigh..
