Non-VN related threads:
Every submission has to be visual novel-related. Some games walk the line between visual novel and actual game. For these borderline titles, discussion on them is allowed and encouraged.
News about VN adaptations is allowed.
Spoilers in submissions:
If our submission contain spoilers, mark it as spoilers after submitting, like this.
If there are untagged spoilers in your submission, mark it as spoilers.
When to use spoiler tags:
In threads not marked as spoilers always use spoiler tags everywhere in the comments.
In threads that are marked as spoilers: no need to use spoiler tags, but keep the submitter's level of knowledge about the VN in mind. Play it safe.
Always use spoiler tags in threads that are not about one specific VN. The only exceptions are series (e.g. Ace Attorney), but only if OP makes it clear that discussing all games in a series without spoiler tags is okay.
How to use spoiler tags:
Hide spoilers like this: >!hidden spoilery text!<, which shows up as hidden spoilery text. Make sure there are no spaces on either side of the text, as this will cause the spoiler to not be hidden for Old Reddit users. Do >!this!<, not >! this !<.

Welcome to the r/vns "What are you reading?" thread!
The intended purpose of this thread is to provide a weekly space to chat about whatever VN you've been reading lately. When talking about plot points, use spoiler tags liberally. If you have any doubts about whether you should spoiler something or not, use a spoiler tag for good measure. Use this markdown for spoilers: (>!hidden spoilery text!<) which shows up as >!hidden spoilery text!<. If you want to discuss spoilers for another VN as well, please make sure to mention that your spoiler tag covers another VN aside from the primary one your post is about.
In order for your post to be properly noticed for the archive, please add the VNDB page of whichever title you're talking about in your post. The archive can be found here!
So, with all that out of the way...

Interestingly, it seems like they are using their own translation team for instead of using nekonyan
I've read Subahibi twice now and a friend of mine has been reading it and noticed something. In Takuji's speech we see him arguing with the Wakatsuki twins, which as we know is Hasaki and her doll, which is fine and all, but then in Which Dreamed It, we see this dialogue.
[Kimura]
"And the things that happened at Kita High... Like when your brother injured a teacher."
[Hasaki]
"Did something like that actually happen?"
[Kimura]
"They say that he smashed a flower vase over a teacher's head during class."
If the Wakatsuki twins were there that should mean that Hasaki was there too, so why doesn't she remember this?
My only theory, and now again MASSIVE SPOILERS is this:
As we know, the plot of Suba is entirely in Ayana's dreams, the only possible way for this to not be a plot hole is that Ayana made Takuji see the twins there and argue with them, but then again it's weird that she'd do this, as she doesn't usually interfere with the story and let's it play out. Does anyone have any other theory?
I want to play wonderful everyday and according to steam posts I need to add the patch to play the full game. When I found the patch it was just data files, how do I add this to the base game on steam?
I'm working on a visual novel for my capstone project and have kind of stage of starting to write the actual script after charting everything out.
I started writing and immediately ran into the issue of branches being very difficult to format in a way that doesn't end up being visually overwhelming. I came to my first dialogue tree and realize I don't really know a way to get everything written out without it ending up cluttered and stacked on top of itself to the point where it feels like it won't even be all that usable later, I just wish there was a way to separate the branches out.
Like it would be really cool to have a writing software that's designed for Choose Your Own Adventure stuff, like it would let you make buttons that lead to an entirely new page when you click on them while you are writing so it can be fairly seamless and organized as a single document.
Or even just something that has the ability to link to a specific passage elsewhere, I don't know.
As things stand Prospect of writing everything is overwhelming just because there is a lot to write because the idea of trying to keep things clear and organized through all the branching clutter is a little terrifying
