Cutting
Unlike weight loss techniques, cutting does not have a particular Goal weight or Start weight, and is more focused on body fat percentage and general aesthetics.
This is done by reducing the levels of fat storage on your body at the best ratio between fat loss and muscle loss.
This subreddit will focus on different cutting techniques, impressive macro-recipes, progress pics and ways to retain motivation during the cut.

I’ve been back in the gym for a week should I eat at maintenance or start cutting
is 16 workouts too much for a full body workout? i do them 3 times per week Monday: Full body Tuesday: Rest day Wednesday: Rest day Thursday: Full body Friday: Rest day Saturday: Rest day Sunday: Full body
can someone please help me out? am i overtraining or over resting?
I’ve noticed that every time I cut (usually about 15 pounds) I lose weight but I end up at the same exact body composition. I’m not losing strength in the gym so I don’t think I’m losing muscle, but I’m also not getting any leaner. I don’t want to cut any lower than 160 because I’d be way too skinny at 5’11.
So what am I losing ? 15 pounds of water weight in 2 months ?
I've had a decent body for a long time and it's the driver of my confidence so I'm pretty good at maintaining it. That doesn't stop me from missing out on social opportunities when I'm out and about, striking up convo with strangers at a bar and what not. Some self reflection brings me to a fear of rejection which I guess I compensate by looking hella good.
Anybody else in the same boat? Or used to be before making social gains? It's a weird feeling to have a nice physique without the confidence to wield it. I have a great time when I go out which I do pretty much every weekend, but I always end up going home alone because I tend to keep to myself.
Beginner lifter here. This would of course have the necessary compound lifts (bench, squat, deadlift)
just finished an 2,5 hours mma seminar and blasted a pasta carbonara and icecream, feel like shit but body and mind were secreaming for carbs, how do you manage cheat meals in late stage of cuts while doing hight ntensity sports + daily lifting? i was not even hungry but feeled like my body needed.
