He is a training surgeon and sometimes shakes are his only meal for the day, he works out twice a week but wants to build mass. I am looking for something well rounded, with good nutrient amounts (?), and tastes delicious or unique. He isn’t into candy flavors. He is the type to like hot apple cider drinks, sushi, bourbon notes coffee, pumpkin and chai lattes. Not looking for these flavors but that’s his vibe. I’d love help for him. He always gets me the best gifts and I know he has everything he wants. Thank you in advance.

I cook for my husband and I. I don’t mind eating just chicken breast, broccoli and brown rice but I like switching up the meals for him but it’s honestly getting pretty expensive to cook enough to hit his protein goal. How much are you guys spending per week for nutrition?
Last night's post lift post cardio checkins. 5ft 2.25inches fasted weight 131lbs.
Placed 4th in Class B Wellness at North Americans a few months ago. My conditioning came in off the mark due to some stress but aiming for redemption here at Nationals coming up.
Wish me luck 🫡
Embraced the bulk a little too hard. Not planning to compete until next summer. Feedback much appreciated 🫶🏽

IFBB Mr. Universe and Mr. America, what is the history?
So I made a little history search on Mike Mentzer on MuscleMemory because I've heard so many times that he had won those titles with the perfect scores and all. Then I stumbled upon Dave Jones and how he was the winner the NABBA Mr Universe in 1978, the year that Mike Mentzer is said to have won the title. https://www.musclememory.com/show.php?c=Mr+Universe+-+NABBA&y=1978
So I googled IFBB Mr Universe 1978 and the first and only result outside of Mike's wikipedia or articles about him is 1978 World Amateur Championships - IFBB. Apperently the title of Mr Universe was granted to Mike after winning this show? https://musclememory.com/show.php?c=World+Amateur+Championships+-+IFBB&y=1978
Then I saw on Mike's wiki page that his Mr America title had a big IFBB next to it, and I know that competition is held by the AAU. so I looked that up and apparently the IFBB and a AAU held each a Mr America contest in 1976.
Kalman Szkalak Won the AAU Mr America https://musclememory.com/show.php?c=Mr+America+-+AAU&y=1976
And Mike Mentzer the IFBB version https://musclememory.com/show.php?c=Mr+America+-+IFBB&y=1976
Now this isn't a discussion about Mike Mentzer. This is just the rabbit whole I went down. I'm more interested on why the IFBB counter contest and titles against the older, competing organisations exist. Is it more of Wielder trying to undercut and overshadow the competition again, as he was known of doing?
Anyone knowing the history about this?

It's Monday and time to post your best progress pics, poses, body parts, muscle groups, or whatever. As long as it's worth mirin'. Post a pic and some stats and let the mirin' begin.
Hi, I’m super super new to this. I’m currently following Yates split from his prime and just working on consistency and learning. How and where do I apply to be in shows in the Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky area? I’m willing to go further as well, thanks in advance for the help!
