Dell G16 7630 or Lenovo Legion 5 Slim Gen 9?
Hi TUF users....I just made my mind for Asus TUF f15....but from some users I've heard that if you don't plug that laptop to your charger then the laptop gets heated and even lags very much and some users also recommended that to not buy that laptop instead this they recommended legion , Acer nitro , predator, hp pavillion, victus and all...so I want to know from y'all guys should I purchase TUF or research for more options?
Mostly I would re coding, running android studio; otherwise would be playing Apex Legends.
Basic Requirements
intel i7 13400k
Nvidia rtx 4060
Was looking for a 16 but is this too good to pass up?
Hey!
I just got my computer in, and it's fantastic. (ASUS STRIX G18)
4080 - i9-14000hx 32gb ram 2tb.
My "issue" though its not really an issue yet, is the CPU runs rather hot. I played Overwatch max settings at max resolution and it killed it. GPU usage was middle of the pack, but CPU usage wasn't that high either. Yet the CPU temperatures were hitting 83c-94c. I'm currently on manual mode and have set the fans to maximum with a decent curve but it doesn't matter.
The GPU temps are FANTASTIC. Barely ever hits 75c. I'm just worried about the CPU temps.
EDIT - Just ran a Cyberpunk benchmark (Everything maxed out, ray tracing included, DLSS + fram gen) and the temps were much better. Not that a benchmark replaces gaming, but the CPU temps were between 70-82c. GPU was almost 100% usage and those temps were absolutely fine too.
Me again T T I want to buy my first gaming laptop and i plan to use it for programming (It has a freebie of +8gb ram), Gaming like Genshin, Valorant and GTA V. Is this a great deal compared to Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3? Thank you!
Hi everyone, I recently wanted to dip my fingers into PC gaming and started off with getting G5 MF5 laptop. It's been doing a pretty good job in running high-spec AAA games like Alan Wake 2 but I feel like there has to be a way to tweak the set up and squeeze out some extra juice from the CPU and GPU.
The problem is as I keep on researching ways to do this, there are nearly no references on the internet to this specific model and GPU for me to get a complete idea. So far I've learned that MSI Afterburner and Rivatuner, coupled with ThrottleStop, is the way to go. But now the challenge is that I find my access to the cores and volt controls locked due to apparently the processor and BIOS.
It's really becoming quite tedious to look for relevant information online, so I'm asking any other Gigabyte laptop owners to impart some insights and knowledge. Here are my specs for reference:
CPU: Intel I7 13620H @ 2.4 Ghz GPU: RTX 4050 6GB (Clevo) @ 75W RAM: 16GB DDR5 BIOS: InsydeH2O UEFI Version FD07
what the title says
I really LOVE the design of this one, the 1TB storage is what really makes me want to get it, and the RTX 4060 Mobile will be plenty for me I'm upgrading from an Xbox Series S.
I saw a video about the 6600m vs desktop 6600 and there was barely any difference with the 6600m actually winning a few games. How big is the performance gap between the 7600m xt and 7600/7600 xt? All three have the exact same configuration, all three have 32 cus and 32 mb of l3 cache, the only difference between the three seems to be the tgp and boost clock speeds.
I currently want to buy my first laptop but i prefer gaming laptop so that i can play genshin/wuwa smoothly, im also hooked with the 16gb since i plan to do programming in this laptop, is this a good deal compared to MSI thin? (which has many issues and bad reviews) Thank you!
I want to buy a laptop that when used it is smooth for college purposes, I am here with a major related to coding.

Thanks for the help
Hello,
I am looking at getting a new laptop for my business, but also am looking for something that can handle some moderate gaming as well. In doing some research I had narrowed it down to the following:
As a note I was also considering an Asus but found most of the reviews online to be suprisingly unfavorable.
The Microsft is a whopping $50 more, so its more a quality & processor question - I dont know the difference between an i7 and Ultra 9. That said...
Simple question I hope - Which would you go with?
*Bonus GPU questions:
Thanks!
As there's sale for Razer in my city, I'm currently considering replacing my old ASUS vivobook with 3050,both are Razer Blade 15, with 16GB ddr5 ram, 1TB Gen 4 SSD and 240hz WQHD screen. The only difference is the 3070ti version is using Intel Core i9-12900H and it's $250 cheaper, and the 4060 is using i7-13800H, I think the 3070ti should be a better choice?
Wanted to know if there is anything like the lenovo motherboard issues with this or should I be good purchasing?
But I have fear that's not gonna be powerful enough and I read before that's rog ally x has 32vram on graphics card and the laptop i want is rog flow z13 4060 has only 8vram who has better performance sorry for dumb question but I am a new on pc gaming
I'm looking for a new computer, and I'm not familiar with what the best options are as I don't keep up with it. I have had an Alienware M15 R2 for about 4 years now, I bought it brand new. For the last year or so I was suffering random BSODs, and now it's completely unable to get past the Alienware startup screen, so I decided it's probably time to upgrade to a newer model. I don't have a brand preference, but I'd like to at least match or improve upon what I had, which was a 2070 with 16gb RAM and a 1TB HDD. I'd also prefer to buy a used machine in good condition than buy new outright.
I bought this laptop recently and been play games regularly but now its been overheating when its idle? Running basic games causes the fans to kick into turbo mode and my CPU temps are regularly between 70-80 degrees celcius. I sometimes leave it in sleep mode while at work and when I get back it feels pretty hot and I can hear the fans running sometime.
Is there a way I can reduce the load on the CPU while gaming?
What is the estimated value of this computer is used, excellent condition?
I know that I just need a few small and more precise little screwdrivers, maybe also a little magnetic mat to set the screws onto. I just want to open the back of my Zephyrus G15 (2022 model I believe).
Are there any other specific tools I need or are extremely helpful?
which one will give better performance and build quality ? Which laptop will last longer?

Hi so I wanna buy my first gaming laptop but I have no idea what to buy or what I should look up for in it, I have a 1000-1200 budget and I’m looking for something that can run games like warzone with no problem, can you give me some laptop or/and some important facts I should carry about, please and thank you.
I don’t much about space, no need to be a 1TB
Im looking for to get a new gaming laptop soon, I find a configuration that really is interesting and I liked, because it is unusual to find (at least where I live), and because I was already looking for an AMD processor. I found an Gaming Laptop that comes with the following specs:
Ryzen 9 6900 HS
32 Gb DDR5 RAM (dual-channel)
Radeon 6800M 12 Gb DDR6
2TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe SSD
16" IPS QHD+ 2560x1600
I liked the performance of the Ryzen 9 6900HS, seems to be a good CPU, the GPU from what I could find is between a 3070 Ti / 3080 Ti, the more recent drivers added frame generation also.
Im new to AMD GPU's know that the architecture is different, so any help/recommendations on that would also be welcomed. Is this a good configuration for 2024? Still a relevant piece of tech to play upcoming titles?
Im not the hardcore user that need 120 FPS, 60 is already really good, I even prefer to play some games at 30 FPS. But I would like to invest in a good machine, that still capable for a long time. My last laptop is alredy almost 9 years old, and I still can play a lot of games on it, rocking an 940MX with 4 Gb of VRAM and an i7, but there is some newer titles that I really want to play, and games that I want to emulate, so I decided that it is already time to get a new one.
Any recommendations and tips would be really good.
