Hello, i have been riding street mototcycles for a while now, but only recently tried my friends aprilia rx on some fields and forest paths and have fallen in love with it. Now im planning on getting myself something similar, preferably a two stroke.

The main things im looking for/plan to use the bike: Only enduro/riding around the fields/forests No dirtbike track riding Really cheap (im from Croatia so up to 1500euros) Something that is not perfect/needs some fixing up (sort of a project) 2stroke

Overall, something like the aprilia rx/kawasaki kmx/kx I weigh around 75kg and have experience with motorcycles

Please suggest some bikes, as i have no clue what to search for.

Title says it all really, I need some recommendations.

Last ride I had the sun was killing my eyes when it reflected off of puddles, couldn’t see anything and had to slow down in order to stay on the right line as where I ride it is rocky and there’s parts of the tracks where your front tire will slip right out.

Which lens colour would best suit this and sort of “overcast” conditions.

I see we have people from all different styles of enduro and wanted to see whats everyones favourite discipline.

If you had $500 to spend on boots, what would you buy? I currently have softer Alpinestars ADV boots but want a stiffer, more protective pair. I’ve seen really good stuff about Garrne but never tried them. I’ve had cheap MX boots that were meh, I love my Sidi road racing boots. Current A-stars are fine.

Terrain is So Cal desert. I’m going to start racing this winter. Early 50s, 200-lb guy, if that matters.

I dont really know the parts in english. Recently, my gear pedal axle's thread got smoothened after I pressed too hard on it. The pedal's thread also got smoothened. An resistent pedal and axle are quite expensive, and I was wondering if there was any way to fix it cheaply. I thought of drilling a hole through the axle's head and through the pedal, then insert a screw to hold them togheter. Any other ideas?

Today my dad came over and saw my bike and taught me a trick for bikes without handguards protecting the levers. When you tighten the clamp to the handlebar you don't close them fully but they need to move if pushed hard, so that when the bike falls instead of breaking the levers they slide up or down and then you can put themback in position, and that's how he never had to change his levers in 40 years.

Maybe you already knew this but it blew my mind, hope it can help someone else.

What option would you go? I’m only a year or so into riding so not amazing still getting everything down pat. Are the 200’s aggressive/sensitive or are they pretty tame? I just want to feel comfortable and not nervous about getting on it if it’s gonna loop out on me. Also, how do you go getting parts for betas? Harder or not too bad? I’m in Australia. Thanks!

Hello everyone I'm 14 and 5"0 (156cm) and I want to start enduro. Considering my height I'm going to get a 2023-2025 KTM sx 85 sw (small wheel) and I need some advice from other riders that are a bit more experienced than me.

1. How should I mix my oil and gas since I'll be riding a 2 stroke?
2. Do I need a license or something like that to race?
3. Recommended brands I should stick with?
4. Do I need to continuously hold and release clutch while riding or is that only when starting to move?

Hello everyone! I recently started out in enduro and have been using an old pair of Fox Instinct boots that were passed down from my cousin. They held up well for the first 10 rides, but now they’re falling apart, so it’s time to get new boots. I’m looking at the NEW Tech 10 ENDURO boots or the Sidi Crossfire 3 (I noticed there are two models—the TA and the SRS—but I’m still not sure which one would be better). I’d love to hear your recommendations so I can get back to riding as soon as possible.

I’m currently looking online I found the Acerbis Impact EVO 3.0 knee guards for about £50.. would it be worth getting these or upping a little and finding some knee braces that don’t break the bank… I’m not too knowledgable on gear and what’s better.

I saw some Knee Braces second-hand for about £100-£150, pretty sure they were some “POD K300” model or something like that.

Beginner here and looking to get into enduro events. I was about to pull the trigger on a KTM 300 XC-W, but I can’t get it plated in PA.

Won’t that limit my ability to use this bike in most Enduro events? Is the workaround registering it in another state?

I see most East Coast Enduro Association events require registration, insurance, etc.

So is everyone riding ragged bikes in these events? Thanks for any help!

I have to admit, I’ve never liked chest protectors, knee braces, or anything that limits mobility when riding a dirt bike. Now that I’m getting older, though, I feel it’s time to invest in quality gear. Does anyone have recommendations for a chest protector that won’t restrict mobility too much?

Looking for a new ride and these two bikes are around the same price with similar hours. The 2024 Gasgas bikes did not get the new closed cartridge forks, but did receive the rest of the new upgrades. The KTM has higher spec components however.

I'm not sure which one I should go with. Does anyone have any advice why I should pick one over the other?

Im planning on getting a Husqvarna Fe 250. But my local Woods are owned by the Community and they enforce a No motorised vehicle rule. Now im Kind wondering do all Enduro Riders ignore such Rules and Ride it anyway or should i Ride in different Woods. And also, how easy can you Run from the Cops/Owners If i do so anyway? I do Imagine a enduro Bike being pretty Superior to any Car/Police motorcycle in the Woods, but still im Not to Sure. Or where do yall Ride Without getting in Trouble?

I just need some recommendations for chest protectors but also have a question whether I need the ones with the shoulder parts (Like the Leatt 4.5 Pro model) as opposed to the just chest protectors (like the regular Leatt 4.5).

I’m not looking for something that’s built into a shirt as I wear a few layers already and I’m fully comfortable with what I wear, just need a lightweight (or not) chest protector that’ll do the job.

I had a google maps link for multiple enduro off road and mx routes around Chiang Mai and northern Thailand, that I’ve lost. Does anyone have a link or map routes they can share?

Is anyone using a thumb throttle for hard enduro single track riding? I’ve been watching a lot of videos recently, especially from Throttle Nectar, and it has me thinking about whether it’s worth trying on my new bike this year.

Also, are there other threads for this type of riding?

Hello! I hope this isn’t an overly asked question, but I have a 24 YZ250X and like I’ve seen everywhere the cockpit is cramped. I changed my shifter and rear brake pedal to a longer one and that has helped some, but it feels like my hands are close to my knees. I just wanted to see if anyone could steer me in the right direction on some aftermarket footpegs. I’m going to go to a taller handlebar as well. I also have a 24 KTM 300XC and also a 24 KTM 350XCF and those bikes are so comfortable and fit me well. I want to see if I can get the YZ somewhat close to that feel. I also have Mako 360 on both KTM’s, but debating on putting one on the YZ. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

I’m new to bikes and have bought a 350 Gas Gas enduro, it’s been sat for about 3 months.

When I try to start it with/without choke I can hear the starter motor going so the battery isn’t flat but it won’t start.

It’s nearly new so I don’t think it’s knackered but I’m not sure what I need to do.

Any help appreciated.

I'm starting with some enduro classes soon and then plan to buy my own bike. My only experience has been a quick ride on a street 125cc(Literally 5min). I’ve been looking at the Beta 300RR, but I’m unsure if the 2019/2020 models are good or if the 2022/2023 is significantly better. I’m also on the shorter side, so I’ll need to lower it.

I want a bike I can keep for a while, and I've been advised to avoid the XTrainer as I might outgrow its power and suspension. Any recommendations? I like the Betas since they’re lighter, and I could lower the 300RR to around the XTrainer's height.
Also, if you have any recommendations on equipment (helmet, boots, back protection, etc.), I'd appreciate it! :)
