Hey y’all, I’m looking to transfer from Citadel Civil engineering to Clemson and wanted to know what competitive stats look like. I currently have a 2.5 GPA (2.6 major GPA) And 69 completed credit hours.

I’m considering boosting these stats with a semester at my community college.

Anyone who's graduated recently, I know graduation costs money. What kind of costs should I be budgeting for and when should I be buying things for Spring 2025? I also have grad school fees and interviews and stuff and I haven't heard anything from anyone and it feels like they're just going to drop it on us. Also are there ways to cut costs in certain parts?

Hello, I am a CS major currently failing math 1050 (pass/no pass course) I know, it sounds bad. If i do bad on this 3rd exam I have the option of withdrawing, if i do that I'll take the CMPT and probably pass with an 80+ which would allow me to register for 1060, the question is IF I do bad on this exam, would it be better to get a W grade on this course or a NP? neither effect my GPA, I just hate precalc and do a lot better in calculus.

So here's my situation: I'm a junior rn. I've never lived off campus (freshman year I was in the shoeboxes, and sophomore/junior year I've been in Douthit West). I don't want to live in Douthit West again next year, so I've been looking for places off campus.

I'm primarily looking at the Vintages, the Lofts, and Clemson Village. They're close to downtown and I hear there's affordable rates (at least for the Vintages).

What are the rates like for each of those? I'm not trying to live somewhere super expensive, but don't want to live in a shithole either.

I don't own a car, so are there bus stops close by that I can use to get to campus?

What are the apartments like, do they come with some furniture or are they completely barren?

And if anybody has any other recommendations for places to live, please let me know.

I got the buffalo chicken pizza at lunch. Didn’t even finish a slice because it was gross but even having eaten only a few bites I’ve been mildly sick since I ate it. Diners beware.

If someone were to fail to complete the AEP, what would happen?

I don’t want to get into specifics but if I do not get an 81 on my next exam I’m probably going to fail chem 1010. I have a few routes planned out and I think these are the best ones 1.) Take it over the summer at my local school back home, but I would need to redo the lab portion as well 2.) use my academic forgiveness on this class and keep my lab grade, then take it online over the summer so I can go back home 3.) admit defeat and take remedial chemistry which would require me to take summer classes for maybe a year or two to catch back up

Obviously I hope for the best, but I need to plan for the worst. If there are any other options I’m overlooking please tell me.

So I recently applied to Clemson and I finished my SRAR. For my senior classes I put “Not in progress” because I didn’t see and option for “In progress”. A lot of my friends are saying I did it wrong and I need to contact the admissions office. Should I contact them or will it be okay to leave it as “Not in progress”?

Currently at GTC and am planning on transferring out relatively soon.

I am a double major in Theology and Philosophy, and I’ve always liked Clemson. I have plans to go to a graudate program following me finishing my bachelors and I want to make sure I am set up in the right school so I can be competitive when applying.

Obviously, I’ve considered Duke with their stellar Philosophy program. But the prices are insane, same with Furman (also an otherwise good pick) and I’ve heard that Clemson is pretty good for Philosophy, and that they even run their own ethics bowl.

This is moreso a question on the standings of the majors here rather than the school itself (like I said, I already like Clemson) and moreso a final push for my decision to apply; but does anybody who, perhaps is enrolled in these majors or has knowledge of them, know if Clemson is well-respected in these fields? (nationally speaking).

Hey y’all me and my group of friends are looking for a place that the max cost with utilities would be $700-$750 and furnished. I know the reserve and UV would fit in this range, but we’re looking for other places. I also know the woodlands and the groves would be in the price range, but they come unfurnished. Is there any other places that would be in this price range?

What's the best way to get from the pier to campus and back for a football game without buying a parking pass or walking the whole way? Is there a bus that goes back and forth?

Hey, how is everyone doing I’m currently enrolled in a nursing program in North Carolina, and I decided to switch majors to engineering (engineering was my passion since middle school especially civil) I want to move down to tctc to hopefully transfer to Clemson, I don’t know how anything down here works, It’s a Sunday so I can’t contact the school till tmr. But hopefully Reddit can help me, do I need to be enrolled to the bridge program or can I transfer as well, I currently have a 3.0 GPA. What steps should I take, is transferring possible. Also I’m in Charlotte and we’ll UNCC is also a choice I get in-state anywhere because I’m prior service but I feel in love with the campus as I visited multiple time because my GF is a electrical engineering student there. Is it possible and I am going to do ROTC
