Beans rarely lets me get a pic of him or sleeps not under the covers. I’m so pleased with this image I captured.
hello! so my baby right here in the picture is starting to have dental problems. she doesn't like dental chews or any chew toys. however, i recently found a hack she will eat or chew whatever especially if there's her favorite treats inside! i tried to have beef roll up sticks then put her fav treats she devoured it. however i went back to the store, it gets thinner and thinner ( the batch that they make ) and it's harder to put the treat into the center. i want something that could help her teeth out preferably for dental chews that has a hollow center that you could put treats inside.
thank you!
She’s all snuggled in
Sally isn't very cuddly, but she enjoys having her booty touch my hip.
Anyone's chi cuddle this way?
Have had dogs all my life. Two chihuahuas (lived to 16 and 14), the 14 yo passed a month ago. I’m ABSOLUTELY HEARTBROKEN. This passing hit me so hard. So, I haven’t had a Chihuahua (puppy) for that long. My DH wants me to fill that hole in my heart… so here we go again. He will be 10 weeks when we pick him up, eating kibble in his own, still with his mama. Raised in the breeder’s home. Same breeder from my 16 yo former Chi. Refresh me with all the tips, please. I’m hearing pee pad train, and no outside for several months until their immune system is stronger/all vax’s up to date, etc., less risk of animal-borne pathogens in the yard, etc. How cautious do I have to be? Can I take him out in my side lawn on a warm day, briefly? No dogs on any sides of my house. When do you take them out to potty train and socialize? I’m assuming I can take him in his sling with me when we walk tho, correct? Or, (much to my husband’s embarrassment) in a small pet stroller? I’d like to bring him to work with me. I own a holistic spa and only see ~3/4 people 3x week (no chemicals!). I own my office and have a new 36”x36”x24”puppy playpen I can put him in, in the reception room. I have all kinds of safe car carriers (5 mile drive). Feed 3x a day until??? Please, enlighten me. Thank you so very much! I greatly appreciate all of the advice you can offer. 💞🙏🏻
So he took a couple of hand fed bites of ham when we first returned after he was treated at the emergency facility. But since then, I can't get him to eat anything. He has taken occasional drinks from his water bowl, on his own, and he did pee twice when I carried him outside. I'm just looking for possible methods or suggestions that might work to get something into him at this point. Thanks in advance. He's 5 and usually has a fairly healthy diet, no people food and a pouch of wet/topping every 3rd day
We were told he was a longhair chi....I believe the chi part...but I believe a Pom may have entered the gene pool at some point...lol
I'll start. 😊 My pup is turning 14 in April. Here's a clip of her enjoying one of her favorite gifts from my mom. She may have chronic kidney disease, but she still has a great appetite!
Sound up. When Bean gets selected for an outing with mom she has always come back like this, clearly only Butter even remotely listens to her.
Hello to all my fellow chi chi lovers and brother and sisters. My name is Henry. I’m a 10 month old Long haired tri-color chihuahua. I want to say hi to the community. 👋
