My little space cadet is not impressed with this year's costume choice...

In my defense, he was handsomely rewarded for this photo op 🍗🍗🍗

Ideas for how to turn two Samoyeds into a rainbow?

Hi there! I have two Samoyeds, commonly described "little clouds," so my partner had the brilliant idea of connecting them with a rainbow for Halloween. I'm hoping for some tips on how to pull this off and apologize if this is the wrong sub -- feel free to redirect me. (I might crosspost on r/costumedesign.)

We already have a leash extension that can adjust to about four feet, such that they're attached to the same leash and never very far from one another. But they cannot be relied upon not to run in opposite directions, adjust abruptly, switch positions, etc. They have harnesses with metal loops in the front and between their shoulders.

My half-baked idea is to get a pool noodle, cut it to about six feet (a semicircle with a 2ft radius), wrap the noodle in a rainbow banner of some sort, then attach the ends of the noodle to the halters. I haven't though through how to attach the noodle to the hardness. I believe it will need to have a hook that can rotate at the base of the noodle indefinitely since it's perfectly possible that one dog will run in a circle around the other. Thoughts?

As for keeping the rainbow upright, I'm at a loss. Perhaps a wire attached to the top of the arc with a small weight at the bottom such that gravity does the work?

Thank you!
