Small dogs napping or otherwise laying on big stuff

My husband and I are seriously considering adopting a 4 month old rescue puppy that will likely weigh around 10 pounds as an adult (currently 6 1/2 pounds). We like to hike, walk, run, travel - is this size dog too small for these activities (not running)? We have always had 35-40 pound dogs so this small size would be very new to us. Thanks for your help!
I'm looking for suggestions and advice on which types of puppies I should be looking at. I live alone in a 2 bedroom apartment with really no yard area. I work 3 days a week, so I'm gone till 3pm or so on those days. Otherwise I'm pretty much at home by myself.
I used to have a Pomchi who was the best! (* see picture of my Wiley). He was very friendly, got along with all other animals and people. He would travel with me if need be. His hair was about medium length and the most he ever weighted was 15 lbs. I really want a dog that will have similar traits.
All suggestions and advice will be appreciated 🤗
She has to have the corners the good 90 degree angled corners, of our comforters/blankets to chew on throughout the day it’s almost like she’s flossing/brushing her teeth lol Why do you guys think she does this🫠?
I got this bean bag for myself to sit closer to the fire and my little doggie loves it just as much!
