I want help to start sketching because I want to create my own animation I have stories but don't know how to present it so firstly I want to learn sketching so I can start 2d animation
I just read all 123 chapters of Act Age and it was a amazing manga and i recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it yet
Only ten chapters are left to finish the series . Kinda feeling sad that there will never anymore chapters afterward . I just got recommended the sub randomly and I just started reading the series out of curiosity but now I`ve fall love with it .
So what's gonna happen to this server now that Usazaki has a new manga in the works i say this server should still be up
Hi, I'm aware of the horrible person the author was and the fate of the series...
But I got curious and read what was available online on free sites and am enjoying it. I just want to ask which translation of the series the best? I heard there's a fan one, an official VIZ one, and an official MangaPlus one. For reference I've only read the one available on the site Mangago.
It's like the psychology behind obsessing more over the end of a 2-month situationship than the end of a long term relationship. It's the feeling of missing out on what could have been; the potential of it leaves you wondering. This manga had incredible potential. It just PAINS me to see such a waste of a good concept and execution. What's worse is when I try to find titles to fill the void all the recommendations just don't hit the same??
A lot of people were saying Oshi No Ko was the manga to pick up as a replacement. It's pretty good, but I'm looking for something that expressed the beauty, passion, and devastation that is the entertainment industry. Not using the entertainment industry as a means to an end to fulfill a personal goal, you know?
I know Act-Age can never really be replaced, but I still hope a spiritual successor can come and rise from it's ashes.
I followed her on twitter and it looks like she hasn't uploaded for awhile. Does anybody here know what she is currently working on? I just miss her art man 🥲
I decided to re read Act-Age and man it’s just as good as I remember. I just gotta come in here to vent man.
I first read act age back in 2022 and it was one of my first manga I read and I just fell in love with it. It was one of the best manga I’ve ever read at the time. After that I started to read a lot of manga, the classics you could say. I’ve read the climber, berserk, vagabond and the like. I know they’re completely different genres but, Also read alot of the manga similar to Act Age as well. So I had to go back to Act Age to see if it really was that good, and after re reading that potential masterpiece, it really was that fucking amazing.
It hurts to know that this series will probably never comeback, but I really miss this manga and the characters. There was so much potential with the story man, I would loved to see how the historical drama would of turned out, I would of loved to see Satsuki’s development as an actress and her character, and to see how the rest of the cast evolve as well. It honestly felt like we were nearing the end of the story, so it sucks even more it just ended so abruptly. I would have guessed 2-3 more arcs till the end, and this manga would have been a classic man.
All the characters just felt so real, we see them struggle and they all try to become better actors/actresses because of one another. The way the author went about the story was perfect, it kinda feels like your regular battle shonen in a way but with acting instead, and he did it very well. The story and characters are easy to understand. it just sucks wtf he did.
jI feel for Kei and the gang ); I would love to see them again.
Anyone have any updates on the author, I know he’s free and all, and he’s probably been on the down low, but any news on that guy at all? Like i feel that man has someshit in the vault, it’s been 4 years since the disgusting incident, but I’d like to think he’s finished Act Age or at least has an idea of how the story was going to go, he’s gotta drop like a google doc or someshit and just drop this shit for the sake of Kei and the gang man. He robbed us of greatness bro. I’m probably just coping but I really do hope we hear/see an update on Act Age bro. #Hopium
It hurts terribly to see this trailer.
Animation like this for an arc that's absolutely incredible but so similar to that of the Iron Princess....
Seeing how Oshi no Ko is becoming an animation classic, realizing what we've just missed...
The wound will never close...
Matsuki is truly a criminal in every respect. A criminal in real life who doesn't mind hurting others, and an artistic criminal who destroys his work because of his vices.
BROO IM SO FUXKING DESPERATE. I read Act Age first in 2020 and I have been weirdly obsessed with it. I scoured all the sites I knew about for Act Age content. Twitter, Ff.net, Insta, YouTube, Pixiv, Pinterest, eto cetera. Of course, Ao3 is included. Getting back into topic, I know that it likely won't continue buuut if there are willing, please make more Ao3 fanfiction about it (I prefer ChiyoKei but doesn't matter. I'm starved for any content) I'm not joking, I left my religion years ago but now I've been praying for any type of content about Act Age. I also have created a continuation of Act Age in my mind that went on for two years (I am on anti psychotics now) I have also been duplicating my own personality to align with Kei's UNINTENTIONALLY. Desperado ako. PLEASE
Reupload cuz I deleted the last post
This is pretty pointless, but let me grief okay ? This shit sucks ! I don't even read manga anymore! Why do I need to be reminded of trash ? Makes me upset , easier to get mad at , take out frustration - maybe.
I am rereading act-age and realize we haven’t got a clear explanation to what happened between Iwao and Arisa. Just know that they have some sort of falling out. Anyone had a theory?
So why is the Discord link invalid as i want to see a Act Age Discord server as i want to chat with my fellow Act Age fans and maybe have Usazaki join as well as she can remember all the good times she had working on the manga.
