The series got a 3DS Visual Novel (Japan exclusive) & two(?) Mobile Games (long discontinued), but what if it got what it deserved? Would you like a Mario Party / Cooking Mama hybrid? A Persona-like Dating Sim RPG? A Mascot Kart Racer? ...Elden Ring no Souma?!

Im just finished the anime and its my fav until now, I like the concept and the plot of the series so WHAT ANIME SIMILAR TO SOMA????

watching season 5 has always been somewhat melancholic for me, maybe because i know that it's going to be over? i remember the first time i stumbled upon this show on netflix, i'm not really into anime but the poster and the title intrigued me so much since i love food and cooking. and yes, of course, the first episode truly shocked me that i sort of stopped, but then i tried to continue and ignore the weird part of it and became attached. i still rewatch this show to this day and every single time, i still feel a pang of sadness (and sometimes even shed a tear) every time i hear the last echo of “wagariyo!!”

i'm still going to rewatch for as much as i could and i would still be sad every time it ends. this show holds a special place in my heart.

I just realized that in every battle, whose food is eaten first will lose. (ps: I think this is 90% true, and dont blame me pleaseeee)

Ending credits of Episode 20 (top) and Episode 21 (below) on season 1. Basically a representation of how || sadatsuka's soul was "exorcised" by hisako and she became clean. ||

But to be honest with yall i don't even watch much of the intro and credits of practically every piece of tv shows but i just fw the song heavy on this one lol. "Sexy curry" is pretty much ryhme-able.

I just simply love little pieces of detail like this lol.

Shokugeki no souma can make an extra episode to the manga, I think I'm not satisfied at all, it was rushed and in the season 5 blue finale, the main character erinaya loses again, can there be something so ridiculous, let's collect signatures, let's remake season 5, no one liked it anyway, it could have been a better ending.Season 5 should be remade, I say. Let's start signing.

There seems to be five OVA's. I remember that I watched one once, many years ago. It was the one where they met the Elite 10 for the first time and they were fully introduced. I think this one must be canon. What would be the right time to see that OVA? After finishing watching season 2?

And what about the other 4 OVA's, are they basically filler?

Don't get me wrong I'm just here to rant. I currently watching food wars and I freaking loving it, I shed tears coz I'm so moved by the story line.

S1 of it is so good like Soma is improving as time goes on he can resolve easily his problem and improve his cooking skill. I learn new thing from him too. I just really love him

But, I peak to the manga coz I was curious about the ending if Soma will get a Michelin Star. He was so eager to reach the top, he also said it too, I also thought that Yukihira Restaurant will become a big thing one day. He wants to prove that to everyone that he can fight too by his own cooking skills and I love that for him

Yet, when I read the last page of the manga I was so sad and kinda disappointing, don't judge me please this is obly my thought. Soma just fed Nakiri a dish and say that it was delicious, that's it the ending.

I thought it would be like he will be a big thing and train more to be able to establish his own restaurant, and to be approved by his dad, in the first place that was his first goal to beat his dad.

It was my first attempt at the bacon wrapped potato dish from episode one. Flavor was pretty good. I need to find an even thick bacon that doesn’t fall apart when raw. Forgot to add rosemary under the twine so I sprinkled on top.

Basically the challenge of the episode is to make something with eggs and finish 200 servings before they run out of time. They then point out that its mostly just families of the judges. and in episode 14 they say over 300 people was expelled and 628 people remain. so in that ONE HALL THERE WAS 628 STUDENTS??? AND THEY ALL FINISHED 200 SERVINGS WHICH MEANS ON MINIMUM THERE MUSTVE BEEN 125 600 POPLE IN THAT ONE ROOM???? HOW BIG IS THIS HOTEL????????? It looked like a normal sized hotel. I NEED ANSWERS! XD
