Light dusting of cassava flour then drizzled with avocado oil. 300 degrees on each side for 8 minutes then crank up the heat to 400 flipping once. Tossed in a homemade buffalo sauce that consists of sautéed fresh garlic, chopped cherry peppers, hanks hot sauce and dubliner grass-fed butter. Great flavor and the wings stayed crispy after sauced.
Deep fried with my favorite sauce: Buffalo, bbq sauce, honey.
Are you team ranch or blue cheese?
It’s team ranch over here! Though I did try some blue cheese with these.
I've learned that a tsp of Baking Powder makes all the difference when air frying to get them crispy.. Love it.
Lemmon pepper steppas with some jumbo shrimp. Go Vols! Beat Kensucky!
Alright, brothers (and sisters that I may need to realign my worldview for). What is your best air fryer recipe for wings? I have no good wings in my podunk town and so I need to get it figured ASAP. I've got a hankering.
Half spicy garlic, half house dry rub. smoked then fried.
My go to homemade buffalo sauce is 2/3 cup Franks 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1.5 tablespoons white vinegar 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
My favorite local bar has amazing in-house sauce for their wings. I usually just order their mild. I recently learned their base they use is ketchup and franks. I have never heard of using ketchup before and wondered if anyone knew a good mild wing sauce using ketchup and franks as the base. I love my buffalo wings but whatever sauce they make is next level. Much appreciated if anyone has any insight.
Going to see the Maple Leafs - Capitals game coming in December. Wondering if there are any recommendations between the two cities? We’ll be there 5 days.
Thanks!
We finally found a solid spicy sauce at Makro that makes this super easy. Living abroad, it’s fun to figure out new takes on old classics.
That's all
These are store-bought kettle fried wings, with a modified “modified Daytona beach sauce” based upon a recipe from Redditor SpartanDoubleZero. Fried up with some bacon, coated with sauce and finished under the broiler. Amazing!

Hey everyone! I’m deciding for a 5th wing flavor for a party I’m hosting. So far, I have:
Buffalo (medium), Honey BBQ, Thai Chili, Garlic Parmesan. What sounds good for a 5th, Cajun or Lemon Pepper? I’m not too knowledgeable with wing flavors, so I figured to ask the experts. Any help is appreciated!
Anyone know of any? Specifically in the Puget Sound region. I miss the one that the Loose Wheel used to have. Thanks.
You guys got any wings recs for SF?
Who here is a fan of having excess sauce in their wing baskets? I’m talking like a decent pool, enough to dip in?
And who thinks it’s messy, excessive, or ruins the wings?
