Veganism: "A philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals." - The Vegan Society

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my Instagram called the Vegan Visitor where I travel the world uncovering the best vegan-friendly foods in local supermarkets! I thought creating this page would be helpful for other vegans who travel the world, highlighting vegan-approved products, and show you how to navigate stores globally as a vegan.
Please feel free to support my work by following along.
While I'm used to this life in countries where being vegan is not very common (Eastern Europe/Balkans), I haven't really heard much about Africa. I don't expect Morocco to be full of beyond burgers, but just wondering if Tofu is at all possible to find in big city supermarkets in South Africa, Kenya, or Madagascar, for example?
Excited to announce the latest update to our list of Top 10 Vegan-Friendly Cities in the World! This year's list highlights a blend of newcomers and familiar favourites. Which of these cities have you been to and what did you think of their vegan food scene? Did any of the rankings surprise you? :) Here's the full list and report: https://www.happycow.net/vegtopics/travel/top-vegan-friendly-cities

Even better if you have any suggestions for authentic Jamaican vegan food
Hey All! Going to CDMX in January and currently scoping out lodging options. I'd love to be near vegan food. I'll probably rent a place with a kitchen, so vegan-friendly food stores are important as well as (cheaper) restaurants.
Any suggestions on neighborhoods relatively close to downtown?
Hi all, I'm going to Argentina tomorrow and would like some recommendations for the best vegan empanadas you ate there. I'm going to Buenos Aires, Salta, Mendoza, Cordoba and Patagonia. Thanks in advance!
Any suggestions for things to do, see, visit or taste today and this week? Thanks!
