Could CBD reduce coronavirus symptoms? This Toronto company is ready to put those claims to the test

GrowthOp Article: https://www.thegrowthop.com/cannabis-news/could-cbd-reduce-coronavirus-symptoms-this-toronto-company-is-ready-to-put-those-claims-to-the-test

---

Cannalogue is absolutely NOT claiming any sort of prevention, treatment, or cure.

However, there's enough evidence that warrants further investigation, especially when there's no definite treatment available.

The study will involve broad spectrum oil, mainly CBD, which will be consumed orally. There will be NO smoking or vaping.

Here is some evidence predicating the research study:
a) CBD anti-inflammation: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2828614/
b) CBG, anti-infective, McMaster University: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/hamilton/mcmaster-cannabis-antibiotic-1.5476869
c) CBD vs Gr(+) bacteria: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32139776/?from_single_result=Janne+Kudsk+Klitgaard+CBD

Updates and patient enrollment can be found here: https://cannalogue.ca/coronavirus

Business Idea for Vegas - build an Amsterdam hotel/casino/experience

I thought of this while at the 2018 MJBizCon. Think of the Paris, New York New York or Venetian interiors - streets and canals.

It's focused on cannabis tourism, has some of the art, food and culture of Amsterdam, coffeeshopps, iconic places like Barney's. etc. Indoor smoking/consumption permitted. Brands and dispensaries can buy retail space. Somebody with the cash and connections, please do this.

How to stop the CBD industry becoming a pyramid scheme?

This bit of the article is so true of the MLM business models

'What’s worse is that the products that these companies sell generally target stay-at-home mums or unemployed people as a way to make extra revenue by ‘being their own boss’. These people feel desperate to make their money back and end up bombarding family and friends to purchase the product, ruining relationships in the process. https://www.theextract.co.uk/business/cbd-industry-mlm-pyramid-scheme/

When did the legal recreational marijuana markets of Colorado and Washington state go into effect?

Hi, I’m writing up a piece on the legalisation of marijuana in the US. I know the votes passed at the 2016 election but the markets didn’t get implemented some time later. I can’t for the life of me find anything online for when they did so wondering if anyone could help? A source to the dates would be really helpful too. Thanks in advance 🌳

The State of Cannabis Software 101

Launching a software company focused on streamlining and improving the processes involved in the seed-to-sale process.

I'm looking to get opinions from those who've worked in the industry as well as those who have an outside perspective.

Here are a few various open-ended questions:

· How are companies currently utilizing software to improve their business?

· What are the best software programs currently on the market?

· Are any areas of the business being neglected when it comes to software develeopment?

· What are the biggest pain points with the current state of software products available?

· What features or products are currently missing that would help drive efficiencies in the business?

· How close is the market coming to being saturated with too many startups?

· What does the future of the industry look like? 5 years from now? 10 years? 20 years?

Can't wait for the discussion everyone!

Is Northern Michigan university's medicinal plant chemistry degree worth it?

I'm just wondering what is the best way to get into the cannabis industry. This is the only degree specifically for cannabis AFAIK, but there are already a lot of people in the industry that didn't have this/any related degree. Is it better to try to get connections and climb the ladder in a legal state, or is getting this degree my best shot?

I recently created r/AdspaceMarket where business and/or individuals looking to advertise can directly link up with those selling adspace. Maybe some of you might find it worthwhile?

Hey all, I recently created r/AdspaceMarket which is intended to be a place for people on Reddit to buy and sell adspace.

Anyone with a digital presence of any kind—be they content creators, YouTubers, Instagrammers, website devs, bloggers, streamers, influencers, or whatever else—can now directly sell their traffic to small businesses and enterprises involved in e-commerce and services. By cutting out the middleman, businesses can expand their reach and adspace sellers can more directly monetize their traffic.

Personally, I've developed so many working relationships here on Reddit. It's a native platform for communication and meeting new people. Given how successful r/ForHire has been, I decided to apply the same idea to adspace: what if there was a way to connect media and content creators directly with advertisers here on Reddit? From this basic idea came r/AdspaceMarket.

I thought some of you in this sub might be interested. Let me know what you think!

Note: if you are wondering about spam, I just recently added a rule which forces sellers to only be able to post images showing proof of traffic. Buyers can only post text-posts.

Missouri Application Writer/Consultant for Equity

Hi,

My business partner and I are preparing to apply for a dispensary in Missouri due August and we're in need of an experience application writer that can help us properly fill out the application while we go out to market, build out other team needs, and raise the necessary funds. My partner is a Missouri resident with extensive retail operating experience and our skill sets + advisory board are well equipped to get the remaining elements needed for the application. We're hoping to onboard an application consultant for equity that wants to join on the opportunity. Feel free to message me if interested and to get more details.
