Artists and connoisseurs of tabletop gaming, this is a subreddit for freelance artists to connect with those wanting to commission art for private use or commercial enterprises. Examples would be commissioned portraits of RPG characters, or elements for board games or table top games such as maps, cards, tiles, etc.
Subreddit Rules:
1) All posts must contain artwork created by the poster (or posted at the request of the artist). Art should be at least loosely related to tabletop gaming. This includes RPG characters, environments, maps, board game elements, illustrations, sculpts for miniatures, paints for miniatures, etc... but could also be extended to projects like fantasy novel book covers, work for indie games, and other things of that nature.
2) Posting artwork implies that you are open to solicitations for commissions.
3) Artists may ask for critiques on their work, please be civil when critiquing others work. Nonconstructive/uncivil comments will be removed.
4) If you wish to approach an artist for commissioned work, look around for one whose style you like and send them a PM asking for details. Posting here implies they are open to commissions.
5) Solicitation posts are only allowed for projects requiring multiple artists (Such as board games or card games), in which case they should contain an outline of the project and estimated rates as well as the number of artists required. All other solicitations should be performed through private messages.
6) Posts that may fall under the previous rules but contribute to the subreddit or foster meaningful discussion about tabletop art will be judged on a case-by-case basis.

In a very important time in my career, this piece is a big piece of my progress as an artist. It was a request from a family member for a grungy “garage piece” . Well it didn’t layout the way he suspected. And i just went with it. It is turning out to be the piece that reminds me to “trust the process” as an artist and embrace it. It may not what i “think everyone would like to hang on there wall” but its a perfect example of my style. And thats ok. Thanks for looking!
