It's been a little while since I played my druid character, but I get to bring them out tomorrow so I was checking out what I had done with them as the last thing I did was level them to level 6. Turns out I have over 300 gold.
So this leshy druid is fairly tanky and upfront usually, probably not how I'm supposed to play them but I'm playing yo have fun - they have a +1 armour rune, doesn't really do weapons so no worry about runes there, has a badger companion with barding, has a staff of healing as well
I know the like, obvious items of what I should buy my character are wands. I did buy a 2nd level wand, but I still have 200 gold left. I was planning on the wand being the spell Loose Time's Arrow because my druid has pretty high perception and often goes first, ans the spell helps the martials (we have a lot of those) get into position to strike.
Other than that, I'm not really sure what wands I'd want? With my staff giving me 3 extra charges of spell (usually I just put heal spells in it), unless we end up in a lot of combats I don't feel like I end up running out of spell slots? Since I kinda feel like most of the time cantrips are better for dealing damage and spells are for inflicting conditions/buffs/etc I've tried looking for like utility or other spells that could be useful outside of combat or something but a lot of stuff is just so specific I don't know if I want a wand for it? As PFS isn't one long story plot there isn't like, something obvious to me that I feel I need based on the setting and how the story is unfolding, yknow? I'm probably glossing over a bunch of useful stuff because I'm dismissing it in a sense of 'oh that won't be useful after I've got to a higher levl, it'll be a bit of a waste for me to buy'
I guess there's also items that boost skills, but I can pass the expert medicine check with assurance at this point so I'm not sure +1 medicine item is like, the key thing I'm missing
I'm probably just over thinking this a lot tbh. Or at least with all the brain fog from my currently mentally taxing job has made it harder for me to figure out what would be a good idea for my character.

Hi there, I'm Esme Silverthorn!
I love RPGS and I am a D&D veteran from ADND, I will be doing my first proper Pathfinder 1ed LORE stream (going through the mod "First steps, part 1) with chat! If you are a veteran or even an interested party who wants to educate us or play Pathfinder with us, please jump on in I'll be live for the next 5 hours! <3
I have been thinking about making a character become as disruptive as possible. What I would mean is making a character Lawful chaotic in essence. Wherever the character goes, he/she has a high knowledge local. Whenever necessary or able to do so, the character would purposefully exploit loop holes in local laws and customs to be as annoying as possible while still being within the confines of the law.
Everyone would know this person and the officials would hate him/her as they can’t do anything to stop this person from doing what they do unless they change their laws.
I was thinking about having sneak and disguise being key factors in this build. What else would be great to make this person as effective as possible?
Not just party roles but like full on optimal class picks for a 5 player party
I know people dislike these munchkin type posts but I'm curious if there's a perfect formula for this

I recently played Wrath of the Righteous and now I really want to see a re-release of the game as a tabletop campaign, like what Paizo did with Kingmaker. Does anyone know if there are plans to update the tabletop campaign to match the game? Would buy it without thinking.
I haven't played in a special, but a convention near me might need an extra GM for the special to be able to happen. I have GMed in Society a few times, so how different is that from being a table GM (not the overseer) for a special? Where does the interaction come in?
Hey gang, I'm looking at helping the Pathfinder Society gms at my LGS starting next week, and I'm not at all familiar with pfs.
I used to run Adventurers League writing my own unpublished dungeoncraft adventures and alternate game systems on pathfinder night cos I wanted to run something other than traditional fantasy, but then Thursday nights fell through due to a lack of gms for pfs.
Now the LGS wants to start up Thursdays again for the summer (ozzie ozzie ozzie!) but they only have the one gm for pathfinder (same problem they had last time) so I tossed my hat in the ring because I have no intention of buying dnd 6th AI edition.
The one thing that has struck me is how rigid they pfs ruleset is comparatively. There's no options to write your own adventures, either. I've got to admit that that makes me hesitant more than anything else.
Reading the absalom initiation, it's giving me anxiety thinking about having to try and get 4 separate missions done in 4 hours and still having time for role play. It feels like I'd be rushed all night, and that doesn't sound fun to me.
Does anyone have any starter gm tips they can give?
The main gm tells me it's not a good idea to split adventures into 2 sessions because of the reporting side of things. So how the he'll do you not make absalom initiation not feel rushed? Help?
The Organized Play Community Survey is now live! Whether you're a long-time participant or simply Society-curious, we'd love your feedback on how to improve our programs. Take the short survey below!
I want to play a druid without having to use a weapon, but the problem is in pathfinder druids don't learn damaging cantrips. Is there a feat or a way I can get a Cantrip that does damage as a druid?
I know you can calculate the DC of a day job check ( 14 + floor( (4/3) * task level ) up to task level 20 ), but is there a way to calculate the value per day by task level and level of proficiency instead of just looking it up?

Hello, for the past few months I have had issues with the FOB key of my Pathfinder. It works fine everywhere except in my driveway and the garage. And even then it works, sometimes. We tried changing the battery of the FOB and even reprogramming it. At this point I suspect radio magnetic interference around my house but I haven't been able to find out from where. I tried turning off an on the wifi in my house in case that was the issue but so far no luck. The other clue is we seem to have more of a problem when it's raining or snowing that when it's dry. Any ideas out there? Anibal
Has anyone here run this AP? I'm wondering if the caravan system is easy to deal with or if it bogs down gameplay. Also "We be goblins!" is supposed to be an intro before playing Jade Regent (just read through it and it seems like fun). Where does "We be goblins too!" the sequel to We be goblins fit in? WBG then WBG2 then Jade Regent? Thanks in advance.
Have you ever started a TTRPG campaign but can’t find a space big enough to host everyone? Or maybe you have the space but no equipment or minis or any of the right tools to get an immersive experience?
I’m looking for interest or support to starting a business where I rent out rooms and space with a table, chairs, equipment and misc. for TableTop Role-Playing Games.
The rooms would have a game table, chairs for a whole party plus a GM setup. Rental would come with options for minis, maps, books, sound and video equipment, and other TTRPG necessities.
Please respond if this sounds like something you’d be interested in using or if you know someone who would be interested in this. I know some game stores have options like this but these would be fully decked out rooms with themes to them for an immersive play experience.
Im a bit more on the silly side but i can def do more serious campaigns.
Ive never really done this so youd need to hold my hand a bit trough it but i really want to join someone.
Im a druid deer beastkin, my character is adapted from another series so it sound a bit ridiculous and op at first but i promise it makes a bit more sense as it goes.
At 8th level the monk gets Slow Fall of 40 ft. But if you are playing a Qinggong Monk, and gave up slow fall at 4th level, what happens at level 8? Can you replace that slow fall amount with another ki power or do you take away wholeness of body from level 7? They made it very confusing. Do you still get the slow fall of 40? A lower level ki power may have been a bad trade if it took away the ability to slow fall any distance at 20th level.
I have a level one kholo fighter I'm making for society and I don't know how to get access to the hellknight feature or if hwllknight are legal in society play?

Is it Tsukiyo or is there another because when I looked it up it confuses me?
I am a man who likes to play the goofy builds that were clearly made by an intern but im running into some problems with exactly “how” i should build
I am a dwarf oozemorph level 5, and thus far i have the following feats: Toughness, improved natural attack, and step up. I have more or less decided “fuck armor” since at some point im just gonna always be either a large animal, or a troll.
The problem im running into is i don’t know what feats to get from this point forward. I just hot step up buy would be willing to trade it out if someone had a good idea for what i should build like to get the most out of my pseudopod slams, and DR
My chronical sheet has a Cold Iron Chunk as a reward. I looked it up but I don't see the point of it. In a home game I could use it as a weapon. What can I do with it in PFS?
I'm running a monthly game and wanted to do something compact and contained and PFS scenarios seem like the best way to do one shots that are still connected. However, the XP and treasure mechanics feel like they'd be too rigid for a home game and it removes some of the joy of, say, finding a magic sword or something. While I haven't run PFS scenarios before, I imagine you still find those items and are simply not allowed to keep them, but I don't know if they're balanced in such a way that players could. Perhaps there are an abundance of enemy magic items because the writers know the players aren't keeping all that loot.
Does anyone have any tips on how to adjust a PFS scenario so that it fits more with a home game? Or am I overthinking it?
