I was an avid fan back in my college days especially when S2 came out for Strikes witches and the movie, I always thought that while other shows would thread the line and use fanservice and Panty shots once or just a handful of times, Strike Witches to me was the next logical step of Panty shots in anime
To me , it had wonderful likable characters, a mysterious enemy and Military weapon being fire by anime waifus that are just walking Panty shots
After College I was so tangled up with work that I had forgotten about this show until a random video was recommended to me in youtube
If anyone can explain to me what happened to show and why its now in a dormant state with only Manga Spinoffs, I would very much appreciate it
So question , I’m new to the strike witches. Do the strike witches draw inspiration from the all female Russian bombers nicknamed the night witches ? Or is there another origin story for the manga and anime ?
