Tattoo artist recommendations?

So, I’m looking for a recommendation for a tattoo artist to do a memorial piece for my mom who passed a few years ago. I want something small to maybe medium sized I’d say. I was thinking rosary beads wrapped around my ankle with a cross near the bottom, and her name, and I’d like it shaded and all. I got a quote from an artist who I really would have liked to have it done by- and he said about $500. That seems a little pricey to me, but maybe that’s what a tattoo costs nowadays. Either way, it’s just out of budget frankly. Does anyone know a reliable, sensitive place I could get this done at for maybe under $300? If I’m being totally unrealistic, please do let me know. And again please only reliable recommendations, seeing as it’s in memory I really need it to be perfect <3

Car wash

Does Anyone with a black car know what car wash place is safe to go through in Burlington county? I’m terrified of the swirl scratches! it’s got too much pollen on it for touchless

Cloud Seeding over South Jersey

Can we just all chip in and do that? I know the deep state uses it to make hurricanes to force flood victims to sell to lithium mines but maybe this time it’s chill

First Post: Hello!

Hey all, first day on Reddit. Born and raised in Burlco, but Camco now. I work (way) too much, and look forward to chatting with anyone about anything. Hope everyone said Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit for good luck, this morning! Just two days until the clocks change and everyone gets depressed 😂

Best place to find sublets or roommates?

Curious if there's a place better that Facebook marketplace to look for sublets of roommates, I'm beginning the impossible goal of trying to find an affordable apartment in Jersey as a first timer, any tips appreciated!

21 but not in college, if they makes narrowing this type of stuff down any easier

Very rarely get commercial passenger airtraffic over my house, but its been all day. Any idea why? Did they change flight paths to PHL Airport? In Burlington/Camden County

Water supply protection?

Portion of parents' water bill (NJ American Water) includes monthly charge of $60 for water line coverage. Seems extreme. They're in Delran. Would you guys keep that coverage? Guessing original piped since house was built in '72.

Dispensaries on Route 70 in marlton

There are now three within a mile of each other. Two across the street from each other. Of the three opened, None of them ever seem very busy. And a fourth still planned for the Mexican food factory?

How does this seem like a viable strategy?

Air quality bad?

Is it my imagination or is the air quality really bad, often times noticeably smoky lately? I'm noticing it in Cinnaminson, Delran, Moorestown, etc. Wondering if asthmatics are reporting worsening symptoms.

Thank you, whoever stole the Harris/Walz sign from my yard in Greenwich yesterday

It was there yesterday morning, and when my wife went out in the afternoon to get ready to hand out halloween candy (and temporarily remove the sign to avoid stupid drama), it was gone. The stand was still in the ground and no way the sign itself could have just blown off it, so someone definitely just took it.

Congrats, Trump fans. Really showing your true colors.

COVID Vaccine for Toddler

My daughter’s pediatrician’s office doesn’t offer COVID vaccines (?!). I want to get her vaccinated, however I’m having a hard time finding a pharmacy that will take children under 3 (she’s one). Does anyone know of anywhere I could take her? We are in Camden County but willing to travel. Thanks!

Hot tub access?

Hey all. I have a bum shoulder that acts up every few months. I don’t have the funds to buy a hot tub. I looked in swimly pool rental app and they want $75-100 for an hours hot tub rental. I figured at that rate I might as well get a gym membership- so Is there a gym or ymca in south Jersey or Delaware that has access to a hot tub- I’d get the membership just to have access. Thank you!

Thank You Gibbstown

Anyone in here from Gibbstown - I may not have stopped at your house tonight, I may have, we’ll never know. But my two kids, 5 and 2, had an incredible Halloween thanks to the wonderful people in our town. My oldest is painfully shy, but by the end of the night she came out of her shell thanks to the non-stop kindness of our neighbors. She struggles to look strangers in the eye, but was saying “trick or treat” and “thank you” like crazy by the end. My youngest is friendly with everyone (gets it’s from me) and had herself a hell of a time as well - this post isn’t about that one, she’ll tell you all about it when she’s mayor some day.

What struck me was that when we got home, my oldest dumped out her candy on the kitchen counter, said “wow”, and then asked me why everyone was so nice even though she is “kind of shy”. She felt the kindness and got comfortable just being herself. That is so rare for her, and my wife and I were so incredibly proud of how she handled herself tonight.

If you’re from Gibbstown - thank you. This awesome little town had a real effect on my kid tonight, and we are all very grateful for that. Love you guys.

I Want to volunteer at a soup kitchen on Thanksgiving.

Somewhere in either Burlington and Camden County. What are my options outside of going deep into Camden? I’m okay with church-based kitchens. What is the typical process for giving my time to help others? Ps - not too much cooking skills… but I can prep and serve with my experience.

Thx in advance ✌️

Are jackolantern candles ok with the drought?

** Obvious trolls and naysayers will be ignored.**

Just carved up a couple pumpkin faces for the trick-or-treaters tonight. I rummaged around for some candles, and that's when it hit me. Are these covered in the red flag? If not, probably still not a great idea, right. I mean, probably fine? What's been your thoughts on it?

Also, WTF, It's already 83 out. We're so boned.

Edit: I wound up running plug-in fake candles for xmas out to them.

Did anybody get any rain last night?

When I went out front this morning, the sidewalk looked a little bit wet but maybe that was just mist or somebody's hose

Weekend getaway for couples ideas

Looking for an idea of a weekend getaway that's affordable. Not TOO far away from south jersey, maybe 2 hours max. Something relaxing. Maybe air bnb with a hot tub would be great!! Sincerely A Mom who needs a break and date night😂😂 *it can also be out of state!! We were talking about PA some where maybe a cabin even! I do want to go somewhere new/different/ interesting.

We've stayed at the shore plenty of times so maybe some more woodsy?
