The objective is to prove the creation was worthy of being created and not some vanilla utopia.

"And thou, Melkor, shalt see that no theme may be played that hath not its uttermost source in me, nor can any alter the music in my despite. For he that attempteth this shall prove but mine instrument in the devising of things more wonderful, which he himself hath not imagined."

Enough of everyone saying Feanor is pure evil or pure good, he is just a morally grey character who is in between!

A Maeglin song

I’m trying to write a song about Maeglin and Aredhel escaping Eol. I know how it all ends.. but the story left a mark on me.. the young boy guiding his mother to escape the dark forest to a land (gondolin) of bounty. I need lyrics though… can anyone help? The chorus as it stands starts with “follow me”

To master Shirley Ellis's "The Name Game," one must sing the song with all the Noldor's names in Tolkien's Silmarillion. If you can do that, you are basically a Vala.
