Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow,
bright blue his jacket is and his boots are yellow. None has ever caught him yet, for Tom, he is the master: His songs are stronger songs, and his feet are faster.
An awesome subreddit for anything concerning the best character ever created, the Glorious Tom Bombadil!
Hey! Come merry dol! derry dol! My darling!
Welcome to r/GloriousTomBombadil, the place to post anything concerning Tom Bombadil and the characters, locations and events related to him! We accept memes, theories, stories, fan art, you name it, as long as it is related to Old Tom.
If you are looking for memes about the books that are not only about Tom Bombadil, you should visit our friends at r/LOTRbookmemes
And now for a merry song:
Hop along, my little friends, up the Withywindle! Tom's going on ahead candles for to kindle. Down west sinks the Sun: soon you will be groping. When the night-shadows fall, then the door will open, Out of the window-panes light will twinkle yellow. Fear no alder black! Heed no hoary willow! Fear neighter root nor bough! Tom goes on before you. Hey now! merry dol! We'll be waiting for you!

With The Rings of Power season 2 releasing today, it will be the first time Tom Bombadil is included in a major adaptation of Tolkien's works.
We'll be glad to discuss this new depiction of old Tom, and for this reason a new post flair has been created: "Rings of Power dillo!" We therefore ask that you use this flair when discussing The Rings of Power.
We remind you that this is a subreddit about Tom Bombadil, and so posts about the show that aren't related to Bombadil will be removed. If you want to discuss the show in general, there are other subs for that.
We also want to remind you that just like Tom's house, this sub should be a welcoming place for everyone. You can discuss, disagree and debate, but we ask that you always stay respectful and that you don't personally attack someone who doesn't share you opinions.
Have a merry day everyone!

This is an interesting take on this classic Bombadil song, though maybe not my favourite rendition. To me it feels more like a song that'll play in the credits than one that will actually be sung in an episode. What do you guys think?
