Is there anywhere to get one of them for something that ISN’T a few hundred bucks? I guess they’ve been out of print for a while, but there really aren’t other options for Venators out there.
Model work and partial diorama Astronauts prepare to explore the last dead ancient Martian City.
I’m working on the 1:420 Defiant kit, it’s an old kit from the 90s and all the panel lines are raised from the surface of the hull. Scribing the panel lines would make the model look much better and would help with masking the kit for painting. I bought a Tamiya scribing tool and I’m using electrical tape to to try to guide the tool to create straight lines. It’s working fiiiiiiiiine but I’ve never done it before and the lines aren’t as straight as I would like. I’d like to know if anyone has experience with scribing panel lines and if there are any suggestions on how to make these lines a little more straight and uniform. Thanks for any tips you all might have!
