When all of the decoy families are being killed by squid aliens, Rick asks Morty to check for a barcode on his left inner buttcheek to prove he's real. This is obviously a prank but when he farts on Morty, Summer calls Rick dad. Wtf is that? Is it a typo or something? Did they do that on purpose? Wth is going on?! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

Before I get all the comments ik prime was "killed" but it seemed to fast to happen in one episode so he's obviously still out there somewhere it would have been believable if it was the season finale but also at the end of the episode evil mortys quote is obviously a hint that his story is still on going you guys got any theory's on what's going to happen?

I remember in the first season Beth (Rick Prime Beth) was emotional about her mother's death, it seemed like something human, as if an accident or something more serious had happened, while the other Beths don't have as much emotion in comparison, as if their mothers only had disappeared one day.

Maybe Rick after the loss was the only one who managed to complete the portal gun. Maybe seeing an entire multiverse of happy "incomplete geniuses" drove him crazy.

Season 7 episode 1

S1 E7 When Morty Jr. first starts talking he changes tone and says "destruction domination"

I can't find it anywhere but I swear I've heard that line before, as a production tagline or something? you know like Dan Harmon's "did you get any of that?" at the end of each episode.

If anyone else caught that or remembers, please help me find it! I'm thinking it was on late night cartoon network, when they would air anime, not sure. maybe the words are different too but that tone/syllables/cadence.

We all remember how they brought back "Look on down from the bridge" for season 7 episode 5, but there's plenty of other good songs (for the damaged coda, do you feel it, am I the Antichrist to you) that they've used for hard-hitting moments that they haven't brought back yet. Which one would you like to see come back, and what kind of situation do you think it would be played in?

I'd like to see "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails back, but I'm not quite sure how they would.

Hey guys I new to Rick and Morty and I've watched till season 4 so far and one thing I don't understand is why he always avoid time travel

Isn't he smartest man in universe yet he didn't dare to mess with timeline?

I mean if he do mistake he could simply fix it.

He always say he just go to identical universe and not time traveling.

What's your opinion?

I tried it first time last night, man it was thrilling. The rush. But my guy died under a bridge in Chicago in the 80s. Dysentery of all things. What was your experience?

Like, they post a LOT of Smiling Friends stuff on IG and they even had a SF commercial on the Vegas globe. But Rick and Morty has its own IG and they got a new commercial for the anime during the super bowl, and also, there is almost none SF merch, but there are TONS for Rick and Morty, and they even make collabs and stuff, that SF doesn't.

The show seems to mock almost anything and can mock everything from superheroes, heroes in general, crime heists, streaming shows, anime, relationships, politics,religion etc what is the one constant in the show other than rick is the baddest dude in all realities?

From our perspective it is a series. But from Ricks perspective its just the reality. In episode of Meta Venom something magical creature comes through from the fantasy universe to the Reality through the 4th wall. And in Reality a writers character is Story Lord and he exists in the fantasy universe.

So:

Rick, Morty, writer: Reality

Story Lord, the 6 superhero: fantasy universe

Then who does Rick speak to when he breaks the 4th wall when speaking to viewers? He is in the reality so it doesnt make sense that he acts like he is in the fantasy universe.
