[Offer] - Write the artist, title and condition of the record you are giving away. Bonus points if you add a picture. Who you give your record to and how is up to you. Just be fair and kind!
[Surprise Offer] - You're giving away a record, but you're not saying what!
[Request] - Someone's crap might just be your holy grail. Don't expect many answers if requesting Demon Days... But hey, who knows!
[Trade] - Trading records for cookies or pizza encouraged!
[Coupon] - Give a coupon code away.
Who pays for shipping? It's up to both parties to find common ground.
Packing tips:
Use a sturdy cardboard mailer, not an envelope. You can recycle used mailers, as long as they're in good condition.
Keep the records in the inner sleeves but OUTSIDE the jacket. Spine splits and tears make people sad.
Make sure the record is not freely moving in the mailer.
Domestic US: use Media Mail, it's cheap!

If anyone has these, I'd be interested in picking them up for the right price. Thank you.
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can help me.
I've had a copy of The First Four Years by Black Flag on Red Vinyl for around ten years, that I originally got from a pop up record store. I always kicked myself because there was an original (First) pressing of GI by Germs and at the time didn't think that this record was anything special. But over the years I've tried to find anything about it, but I can't find much at all - which leads me to think that's really quite rare.
If anyone can tell me anything about it I would be very appreciative.
(Sorry for the lack of pictures as it's currently in storage)
Looking to see if anyone is looking to get rid of any blues LPs. Artist doesn't matter, just trying to keep the blues train rolling over here.
Was shipped a copy of this record in which side C/D doesn't have a large enough hole, so doesn't fit on the table. They shipped me a new one for free. Figured I would give away the extra. Side A/B has no issues, and maybe you could sand down the other side to make it fit? Would ask if you can pay for shipping. Preferably US only.
Drop your favourite genre - if there's something I have I'll send it. Plain and simple.
I’m looking to buy a Delfonics record and not able to find it anywhere that I have heard of, but I see it at vinyljunkies. Is this a legit and safe website?
How much would it be to ship 3000 records media mail?
Does anyone know if this website is legit and these records are actually shipping out October 28, 2022? I'm trying to buy Impression, Masta, and Playlist and this website has the best prices and seems legit to me.
Can't find any useful info about the safety of the website online
Hi, I looking for a vinyl covert art - album/single - that shows people on the cover that are movers and/or moving boxes into or out of a house. In my recollection it had the band dressed up as movers from a moving company but I could be wrong. Any suggestions featuring this on the cover would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!
Hi, r/RandomActsOfVinyl!
We wanted to gift a few copies of The Wallfowers' recent record, Exit Wounds. No rules or qualifications to win (though we certainly appreciate a follow on socials - u/newwestrecords), so leave a comment if you like free vinyl!
New in this hobby. Please help me decide a good pressing. I'm very new in this field and don't know much . This would be my gift so returning is not possible. Is the extra 17$ worth the quality? are they the same pressing?

Hi there,
First of all apologies if I am posting in the wrong section and my blatant dumbness..I'm just looking for any advice if possible for me and my family.
My father passed away in January and we're in the process of trying to sort out the house and save/make money where we can to help mum as she will probably downsize at some point.
We came across a box of vinyl in the attic with around 40 discs. It features records such as Jethro Tull, Rory Gallagher, Led Zeppelin, Super Tramp, Rainbow, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan and more.
None of us know - anything - about records and various searches list them anywhere between £10 - £60+. My sister emailed a specialist who said a reserved auction price would be £120 for the lot however one may be £120 alone as it has a green label.
She then put a local Facebook post advertising them all for £80 and it blew up. I'd say like.. 30+ people interested within a couple of hours. Some who are being very persistent which makes us question is they are worth more (I wouldn't have listed them for that..but I still know nothing)
What I'd really appreciate is what specifically are we looking for on each record/sleeve to really get an idea of their worth - label's? I read something about stamps? The year? Any little hidden things that will set them apart? Any information on what makes the vinyls sought after.
I have tried googling all sorts but find conflicting information. TIA if anyone can offer their patience and wisdom.
I’ll trade what i got. Let me know.
Just say something sus, and you will be entered.
Have lots of stuff I'm willing to send to you if you can get me into something like deepbassnine, trancetraffic, etc! Will make it worth your while!

So I'm an avid music collector, I've been collecting cds and cassettes since I was fairly young. Back in August of last year when I moved back to Washington from Alabama, my in laws stole pretty much cd and cassette I owned and pawned most of it off or used it as target practice (long f***ing story there).
Anyways, I'd pretty much given up on collecting music ever again, but my wife surprised me at Christmas with a record player and a couple of records. Frank Sinatra, Phil Collins, Boston, stuff like that. I loved the present, and I love that I can now start collecting records, I just wish she had gifted me some records that I would actually listen to. I still use all the records she gave me for when we're playing D&D on Saturdays (another long story) but otherwise it mostly just sits there. Not complaining, I love my wife to death, just looking for other records.
If anyone has any alternative rock or indie/indie rock records they're looking to part with, I'm willing to make you a trade! I love alt rock from the 90s and 2000s, and indie/indie rock from the 2000s to the 2010s, but I'm open to trying anything out.
As far as trade, I can offer pizza, cookies, video games, artwork, or whatever else! I hope you consider this post, and I hope you have a great day.
I’m new to this hobby and can’t really get any records unless I find them at garage sales or online. Does anyone have any they don’t want?
I posted about my stolen vinyl collection a few days back and have been really blown away by the outpouring of support. Searches on FB and Craigslist have come up empty, the police haven't dug anything up, and I haven't heard back from the record stores I called. I've definitely learned the value of Discogs and insurance with reasonable deductibles. Several folks suggested I post a list of what's missing here in case folks could help me replace some of what I've lost. I'm not expecting anything, but the outpouring of support I received has encouraged me to follow through. I did a rough accounting, and here's what I can recall from memory. Thanks again!
CSNY: So Far
Bruce Springsteen: Born in the USA
Arthur Rubinstein: Rubinstein and Chopin
Columbia Symphony Orchestra: Stravinsky Conducts Three Favorite Ballets
Leopold Stokowsky: Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition
Jorma Kaukonen: Quah
I can't find anything anywhere, and he is crazy obsessed with this band. please help me out he would be so happy.
Hello,
My significant other is a huge Beatles fan. If anyone wants to send them any Beatles vinyls, please let me know.
The soundtrack dropped on RSD 10/24 and I didn't even know that was happening. Love the movie - love the soundtrack, just not looking to buy inflated prices from flippers.
I am seeking an old pressing of Rodgers & Hammerstein – The Sound Of Music Label: RCA – LOC-2005 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album. However I am wanting to find a specific version. I am fairly certain it was a stereo recording but it absolutely has to be the yellow vinyl pressing. I am looking to give this as a christmas gift and it will most likely never be played. So recording condition can be poor. Does anyone have any ideas or pointers where I can locate this album? I have tried my local stores and Discogs with no success. Help!
Hi everyone! I've been on the hunt for the 2011 sky blue pressing of Dusk at Cubist Castle for a long time now. Came across this sub and was hoping maybe someone here had one they were willing to sell. Thanks!
I don't have a title, and I'm afraid it might be pretty rare, but I honestly know nothing and hope you guys can help. I am a distant relative of the boxer Jack Dempsey, I don't want to be too specific about the relationship because ancestry websites are a thing. Once on a random, hazy Chicago evening in the mid 90s, I encountered two interesting gents who had been Limo drivers for celebs passing through in the late 60s-early 70s and many stories were told, and I told mine. At the end of the evening these two hand me and my friend each a vinyl, Dark Side of the Moon for her, and a classic sports collection for me that had Jack's voice on it, like you two were so fun to chill with, keep these as gifts of Karma. I bought a player just to listen to it, it was so great. It's been a good 10 years since the fire melted both and my memory is trash, but I remember it had Jack Dempsey, Babe Ruth & maybe Ty Cobb, it may have had "Legends" in the title. I'd appreciate any help identifying or getting even a recording of the record. Thanks!
