Krisendale - Without You (1977): A beautiful, heartbreakingly melancholy, but ultimately uplifting song from this legendary duo (to me at least). Music will help me through these dark times as it always does.

Obscure but creepy mobile game (2010)s

Not sure whether this is the right subreddit to post this in but oh well (if not, can someone direct me to an obscure games subreddit?). Does anyone remember a game called ‘The Secret Society: Hidden Mystery’? On the surface it looks like one of those hidden object puzzles but there is something different about this game. It’s so incredibly obscure and I haven’t ever seen anyone talk about it, but it’s honestly kind of an eerie game. It’s about a society of ‘seekers’ who have powers that allow them to travel into magical photographs of various empty and abandoned locations which all have unsettling atmospheres. In the game you do hidden object puzzles which are kinda boring but the lore and the ambience of the game make up for it.

It was apparently developed my MyTona but it isn’t listed anywhere on their website. Attached is a piece of the soundtrack, I urge you to listen to it, it’s haunting. The bizarre story, the strange emptiness of the locations, and the eerie music and atmosphere make this game really unique and interesting. I wish it was more popular, the lore/storyline and just the general premise are really cool.

I wish more people knew about it. I can’t find credits for the people who made the soundtrack. I emailed MyTona about them releasing the OST and they said they would look into it. It’s such a shame that a game with this story and premise is so forgotten. It’s almost as mysterious as the ‘Seekers’ themselves.
