Mainly my blu ray collection but you may spot a few dvds. Having trouble deciding what to watch. Help me!
I didn’t go looking for any this year and was wondering if there were any good ones I may have missed out on.
Might go to prison for buying Kids willingly…
I’m not asking about your favorite movies by him, but rather Spielberg's own favorite movies. Has he perhaps mentioned some in interviews?
Looking forward to your responses!
This is my recently passed mother dvd collection. It’s is five rows deep and not all could fit. I have another entertainment center filled with her dvds. She been collecting dvds and vhs tapes long before I was even born.
Does anyone know whether or not this box set has the movies in their original language or in a german dub?
Here's the link to amazon:
I had to move my older DVD collection into one of those wallet holders a while ago, and while it's worked okay, I have a bunch of new 4k and blu ray discs that I've amassed over the last few years than I need to move into a smaller space. I plan on keeping the boxes in a plastic container in the garage, but need something that is a little more protective of the discs.
I figure I can maybe use slimmer jewel cases, but that's going to make it a pain to keep organized and be able to find a title.
I've used one of these before, but I honestly hate the whole design, but the compactness, the organizing booklet almost make me think it's the best I can do:

I have trouble playing blu ray releases from paramount. I live in the Netherlands. First it was with the movie IF, I tried the dutch and german release and both the disc's stutter at the same moments. Now I have it with knuckles(german release). if I rewind a bit and than play that part again it plays good. All other disc's are playing perfectly, it's only with 2024 releases from paramount I have this problem. I have 2 blu ray players, Sony bdp-s1700 and LG BP250. The LG blu ray player plays the disc's a little better than the Sony blu ray player but it still doesn't play well.
Can someone please help me with this?
Found this one yesterday at am antique shop. Who remembers these....
Hey guys, i just got a dvd of full metal jacket for real cheap and i decided to watch the movie. It is the warner brothers version where the cover is half cardboard (snap case)
I was just baffled at how bad the image looked. Like, i'm used to watching DVDs, i own several of them and do not mistake me for someone who isn't used to watching DVDs. I'm talking that, even by DVD standards, it is a really terrible scan of the original movie reel.
The image is low quality and the colors really washed out. Want to see if anyone shares this opinion with me and has noticed, and if there is any reason for this.
I won't complain about it being a 4:3 pan-and-scan because thats standard for the time and i think adds to the charm of these DVDs. When done right pan and scan isn't a problem IMO, and i think the shots are pretty well cut in this dvd.
So many wild one liners
Now I just need Geats, V3 and the Trilogy Kollection
I've heard it's rare-ish in some regions?
I got it for €6 in a CeX, here in Ireland
My coworker doesn’t use DVDs anymore so he gave me his. The only ones I’ve seen before. Is Shrek, The Hunger Games, Jimmy Neutron and Shark Tale and I’ve watched Seinfeld too it’s one of my favorite sitcoms. I think I’ve got some good ones though after reading about some of them. The Patriot has been on my list for awhile just never bought it yet.
