So excited it’s here! My first Black Friday batch from the Crunchyroll sale is here. There are actually 2 bundles missing due to backorder. It’s okay. I’m not in a rush. Clump #2 should arrive within next few days 😬
Can't wait to buy book 4
Now that Viz Media manga are on Bookwalker is there any reason to buy manga on any other platforms. I usually used kindle but sometimes volumes will be missing from them and books I've read will suddenly say I haven't bought them. It also feels more affordable considering Bookwalker tends to have regulars sales while amazon doesn't.
I’ve seen so many posts about people’s manga collections and decided to share mine. I started collecting this year and am so happy with how it’s turned out. I seriously can’t wait to see how my collection grows in these next few months (and years!) ☺️
Hey guys, I’m about to meet the JVA for Sakura (Naruto) sorry I had to specify.
I was told that getting a Funko autographed would not be as valuable as a manga signing (I’m not really looking to sell it but I just wanna have something valuable for my collection).
So I wanted to ask what would be the best manga to get her autograph on? ChatGPT says volume 31 but I wanted to ask some real people who could actually verify this advice.
In addition where on the manga should I get it signed? Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Vinland saga is my favorite show ever so I decided to start collecting the manga. However I've found out about the deluxe editions which look mesmerizing omg. But they're Hella expensive+ they're not available in my country so I have to export+ I'm broke. Should I try to save up for it or just settle with the 2 in 1s? I've already got like 2 and I'm fine with them.
I want to sell or trade these online. I know people sell or trade on here but I’m skeptical because I don’t want to be scammed. Like send these off and not receive the payment or the reverse. Are there websites or apps to guarantee an authentic sale or trade?
Everyone knows how much money goes into manga once you get invested. So do you guys focus on only buying manga, or do you buy a figure from time to time? (Or you’re loaded and buy a big amount of everything)
I recently celebrated a birthday and this was all the manga that my family bought for me. My mom got Gachiakuta and Goodnight PunPun; my brother got the Berserk volumes. Everything else my boyfriend bought 🥹. I’m still trying to read everything!
Started No.5
Bought some random volumes of mangas I’ve already read (kaguya sama + we never learn + magus of the library)
Witch hat atelier seemed nice and I was getting a good trade offer so decided to get this
I finally got a shelf for my manga collection, what do you think? Post is marked NSFW due to some of the volumes.
I was looking to make an order on black friday for a handful of books, mainly to get a Delicious in Dungeon issue that I am missing that was previously out of stock.
My main purchase was going to be "Kakuriyo Bed and Breakfast for Spirits" to order, but as most (and now all) volumes are OOS on the website I order from, I thought I would move onto Natsumes book of friends.
I have the first book (not read yet) but noticed that issues 3 onwards are not listed at all on travellingman and they are not purchasable on Amazon either.
Is this Manga currently out of print? How long do they generally stay out of print? Have I missed the boat on this one?
Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into some manga series lately (e.g., Vinland Saga), some of which have a lot of volumes already out. On average, I can read through an entire volume in an afternoon, which means I can speed through a series pretty quickly. However, the downside is that buying so many volumes adds up really fast. I’ve been wondering if I should slow down my pace and limit myself to, say, one volume per week or even one per month. But I’m curious—how do you all approach this? How fast do you usually read manga when you're working through a longer series? Do you set a specific pace to stretch out your enjoyment (or budget)? Are there any tips or tricks you use to keep reading manga affordable? (e.g., libraries, digital subscriptions, sales, or second-hand stores?) Would love to hear how other fans manage their reading speed and spending. Let’s share strategies and experiences!
