It’s $162. What are the chances the price for this goes down in the after market? I kinda want it but is this the best price I can get?(I prefer ordering on amiami)

So I ordered a miku figure off ebay (seller was located in florida) and i live in a far north US state, where it is currently well below freezing and snowing. The package is set to arrive tomorrow, and im worried about the figure inside becoming brittle and cracking when I try to unpack it, or possibly already being broken beforehand due to rapid temperature change. Is there anything I can do to make sure this doesn't happen? Or am I worrying for nothing? Any advice helps, tysm!

Is anyone having issue with completing their purchase on Good Smile Company Online Store? I didn't have any issue buying things until January 20, 2025, at which point all my orders started showing the error message, "Order could not be completed. Please try again later or select a different payment method," regardless of the payment method (PayPal, credit cards), the browser, or the device I used. I reached out to my financial institution, and they confirmed that there is no restriction placed on any of my payment methods.

I reached out to GSC Support and they told me that it is an issue with my payment methods, which, strangely enough, do not exhibit the same issue with any other retailers, including ones in Japan. On further investigation, I noticed that after using one of my credit cards that the GSC's payment system is requesting the following: "For your purchase of JPY 0 at GOODSMILE ONLINESHOP with card ending in xxxx..." Notice that the charge shown is JPY 0. Is this the expected behavior?

Hi, recently I bought my first figure from Solaris Japan, and overall the package had no problems reaching my country.

However, now it is on customs stating how documentation is required. This is not my first time dealing with customs since I had to provide additional information the last time I bought a figure from EBay. However that time I was notified what information I had to provide and where to send it.

This is my first time buying on this page, do I have to wait for them to contact me stating what documentation/authorization I have to provide or should I contact them?

I came across this Rias Gremory Bunny ver figure on mercari, seller description says it was store in a bad place by an amateur so they noticed mold inside, box is still sealed, I seen this figure many times online for a good $500 + usd, this seller selling for $390, how much and what type of damage could that mold do to the figure? All I can think of it’s maybe some stains and maybe damaging the plastic, and discoloration on the fishnets, would it be too risky to buy? 🥶

For people who have this figure were you able to get his vortex to stay in his hand? If so how? I find it almost impossible, and I'm thinking about just gluing it in place

While they’re offering free shipping I thought I’d get a figure or a standee or something because I’ve never ordered from them before… but it just won’t let me. I have an account and my address set up. I put my card info in and it just takes me back to the shipping page? It won’t progress and it won’t let me order :’)

For those that collect posables what do you think about the different sizes? I feel like the 6 inch(1/12) scale is to small. 1/8th scale like apex arctech seems like the best size to me but there not nearly as common as 1/12

Do these figures go on sale constantly? With the exception of a few high priced ones, what are the chances of me missing out on one? I currently have a preorder for a popup parade vocal series miku. I see other people post reviews so I assume the figure itself isnt new, maybe a rerelease? I have it paid for already c: buuut if I can buy again somewhere without having to preorder it i want to cancel and buy some other ones that i am interested in.

I'm using IKEA BILLY wooden shelf for displaying, and currently there's 3 figures I have to display without a base: Relax Time Calli and Lamy which didn't have a base, and BA Bunny Asuna which I can't use a base because the shelf isn't deep enough for the base.

Are there any special precautions I should take in case things? Like possible shelf discoloration in the future?

Hey guys! I used to have good luck selling figures on depop and eBay but now it looks like I've been stuck. I've been trying to sell a tohru maid cafe figure and unfortunately, it hasn't budged. I managed to sell a Madoka Magica figure last month on depop but other than that, my luck has been low. Is there anywhere else you guys usually sell figures or promote them? I'm trying to clear stuff up to save up money for me and my boyfriend to move in together once we're married. :(
