We all appreciate art in our own ways, be it via manga, anime or video games. And what better method to enjoy it to the fullest than picking up an art book of your choice and flipping through at your own leisure? Recently my friend went to Japan, and look what he brought back for me for my birthday!!! Hilariously enough when he got it that same day I saw that the English version was announced on Udon 🤣.
Hello! I am going to Vietnam ( Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi an and Hanoi) and planning to buy some Vietnamese art books. Any recommendations?
So far I found one publisher: https://store.dubutbooks.com
Wondering if there are any that I might be missing!
My pickups for November 2024 :D finally got my hands on the complete SAO anime official art collection
Big Mecha fan here, looking for artbook recommendations with Mecha, mechanical drawing and concept art.
I'm from Spain and there aren't many stores that have English books so I usually buy on Amazon but they just don't protect it when shipping and it's really frustrating. Do you know stores that sell artbooks in Europe?
Hi there, I discovered this subreddit only today, I wish I’d knew it sooner!
I have some free days left in Tokyo before I go back home, and I wanted to have your recommendations on the best stores or places you know of where I could find "uncommon" or hard-to-find-elsewhere art books!
I am mainly interested in "Japanese games" (Nier series, Final Fantasy, Persona, Omori, Monster Hunter, FromSoftware, etc…), Gacha games (Hoyoverse, Arknights, Azur Lane), anime in general (I’m your average weeb), and anything illustrated by Akihiko Yoshida
So if you have any ideas I’d be glad to know! I’m not afraid to browse through shelves multiple hours if necessary 🙌
Hello scholars,
I'm looking for a PDF copy of the book Gego: Between Transparency and the Invisible. Here are the details:

Publisher: Yale University Press (2006)
If anyone has access to a digital copy or knows where I can legally obtain it, please let me know. For reference, here is the book link: https://mfashop.mfah.org/products/114680
Thank you for your help!
I've had this book for a while, and I haven't been the kindest to it lol. The spine wobbles, is there any way to fix that?
So I recently learned that the art of long gone gulch book was released and was sold out. I couldn't get one at the time so I was wondering if someone were to have a PDF file of the art book that they are willing to share. I learned it was a reward for the kickstarter back a couple years ago and I was wondering since this Reddit is for art book collectors, I was wondering if someone were to have it or have some tips as a find someone who has it. Anything will be grateful and I'm hope I'm not breaking any rules. Thank you for reading this and I hope you have a good day
My partner has been collecting the Shoeisha Illustration books, but we've been having a really difficult time finding year 2015, does anyone know if it's sold absolutely anywhere? I'm surprised it's not even on eBay anywhere..
I already have "Houses with a Story" by Seiji Yoshida. I actually bought it twice by accident. I bought the Japanese version a couple years ago and then bought the translated one which I guess was made sometime last year, not realizing it was the same book because of the different cover and title.
This book is great for houses, shop, and misc buildings for a fantasy setting, but I'm looking for something for Castles. I want to understand the layouts of Castle Interiors. Like where rooms are and their purposes. Where the throne room is. Where a Castle would sit in different types of city's overall layout, in different biomes like snowy areas and deserts and stuff like that.
Love this artist’s style
I am trying to find the best way to get japanese art books and wanted to hear your guys es feedback/input.
