Hello! So for the past couple of months I have been developing an app that plays background noise (nature, rain, piano, etc) to help you sleep. Having trouble myself with sleeping due to noisy neighbours I wanted such an app but what I found came with subscriptions and I thought I would try to make one! I would love to hear your suggestions for improvement are very welcome :)

This is my second EP, first under the Black Pawn moniker. Gotta start somewhere, so I play the rebel. Interested in hearing feedback and critique on this project and I hope you enjoy and at least take a little gander or a listen to the project. If you like this content, hit a sub or a like. All links and credits noted in the description.

Working
Hello, I’ve been looking around at field recorders. I’m wanting to mainly record for samples in lofi projects to make my own foley, drums and textures from things in nature and around home. Anyone have any good suggestions as to which field recorder to get and why? Thanks for any help. And if I get to really loving the recorder it could come in handy with recording song ideas as I’m also a guitar player and get inspiration when I’m not around my Mac at home. Just a thought also.
There's quite a few beatmakers utilizing this crunchy/distorted sound to their beats. I figured it was getting squashed on the master by a limiter, but I'm unable to achieve the extreme distortion like these. Is there another method I am missing ?

Hey there!
Over the past year, I’ve gotten pretty good at growing playlists through Instagram ads. I’ve had some success curating and growing a meditation playlist and working with artists in that field.
I’d love to do something similar in the Lo-Fi space, and I’m looking for artists to collaborate with and create a deal.
If anyone knows where I could find them or if anyone is interested themselves, please let me know! :)

Trying to find a chillhop/lofi YouTube channel that was on at a party last night. The picture was this one but more blue. Anyone know what channel this could be?
Recently I discovered that there is a lot of Ai Lofi out there because of a video covering it. Please recommend me Lofi artists that don’t use Ai. I like Louie Zong and Nobonoko for reference. Also how can I tell if a Lofi mix is made by Ai at first glance? I feel like sometimes I can’t tell and it scares me
EDIT: Thank you everyone! I really appreciate all the recommendations and tips!
I'm trying to make a chill hop song or 3 and can't figure it out! My songs are always too fast or too busy and I need help!
