Hello i am a game scripter I don’t have much experience but i need a studio to work with if anyone wants to work with me please hit me up with a dm
Hi Reddit,
I’m in a tough situation right now. My brother has fallen ill, and I’ve had to take on the responsibility of covering his expenses. Despite working full-time, I’m struggling to make ends meet.
To help get through this, I’m selling the 8x8 pixel art assets I created for my dream game, Fading Star. The pack includes tilesets, player sprites, and more. It’s priced at $1.25, and my goal is to raise some bucks to cover expenses.
Every purchase helps, and I plan to update the pack weekly with new content. If you’re a developer or know someone who might find it useful, I’d be incredibly grateful for your support.
Here’s the link to buy: https://oddpotatogift.itch.io/jumpstart-8x8-platformer-asset-pack
Thank you so much for your time and support.
Deepwell is a free Undertale/DE-like indie game about your relationship with fictional characters, at least thats how I interpreted it. It’s basically only walking and talking to people, but it has a great atmosphere with developed and interesting characters. It only takes around 50-120 minutes to complete so it’s not that big of a time investment. It can be a bit pretentious at times, but once you work past those it’s quite fun. I don’t want to hype it up because part of what made it great was my lack of expectations so if you can go in with minimal expectations.
With multiple endings and an amazing soundtrack i think it is definitely worth checking out especially due to its price tag of 0.00$

(I did not make this game btw i want to make that clear. I just hate seeing how little attention it has gotten)
So I've got the basics down, maybe not the art as of current but am actively adapting as I go.
But I am currently trying to make a 2D Roguelite, based off the SCP Community, especially the story for SCP-5000 "Why" something about it just seems like it could transition to one quite nicely. I was thinking of a few ways to go about it, and couldn't help but think it could be interesting for it to play similar to games such as death road to Canada or Oregan trail, with resource management and events being the main focus of said experience. I know I'm not putting this into the appropriate words that I am meaning too, but I was wanting input, I can see my vision pretty well, but I'm unsure if I'm being a touch too ambitious.
I'm thinking the only proper way the game could be played outside of events would be similar to X-Com, I've played many Roguelite and can't see this working if I try to go with say combat similar to Hades, or Binding of Isaac.
I'm currently working so this is gonna seem like a mess I'm sure, so if there are any questions please ask I've given this plenty of thought, but I would like to see what others preferably those whom also enjoy the SCP Community would think.
I am currently using Unity to go through with this, as it is the only real engine I have any experience with. (I've noticed I've said I'm currently ALOT, forgive me)
So before I switched to PC I had PS+ premium and tried out Rain World, it looked interesting and I heard it's good so I tried it, I dropped it after just getting lost, but I've been seeing more gameplay of it and it's making me regret not playing it much, now it's on sale and I think that right now maybe I won't get stuck?
Hey all,
Just put out my first trailer for Endless Vine, a colony/survival game I've been working on for some time now. Let me know what you think!

If you're interested in the project, follow me on itch! I'll be putting up a demo very soon!
It’s been 6 months since we launched Abathor, and like 99% of indie creators, I still need to find ways to spread the word about Abathor. Luckily, I enjoy creating things and believe that self-promotion can be both fun to make and enjoyable to watch, without needing to rely on memes.
