"My name is Rusty Dickshovel and I slaved for 10 years on this indie game about a derpy critter in an oppressive world. I was inspired by all the best Metroidvanias, except the one it kind of looks like if you squint! I lived in a toilet and fought feral dogs for my dinner; I blew a trucker at a Wendy's parking lot for a 30-minute hotspot to upload my last commit. Oh, the road was long and hard and hairy. It would make my dreams come true if you wishlisted my masterpiece. Kisses! <muah!> 😘💖🍑"
which game engine do you guys use ? or did you develop your own game engine ?
A year ago, I shared that I was working on a retro-inspired space shooter. Now, after a lot of work, I finally have a Steam page, and the game is getting close to release!
If you love classic-style space shooters, I’d love for you to check it out and wishlist it—that really helps indie devs like me.
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3391210/Try_Sora__Space_Shooter/
I also made a couple of teaser videos:

Teaser 2: https://youtu.be/DqMdlUeudX4?si=yl5FZP7kQB-JTEg4
I set out to make a game that I’d love to play myself, and I hope others will enjoy it too. If you have any feedback or thoughts, I’d love to hear them!
(Mods, I hope this is okay—just wanted to share with a community that might appreciate it!)
The game where you play as the boss 2d pixel art and i think there is like an npc who challanges you over and over again?
