/r/LetsPlayCritiques
A subreddit made for YouTube creators to come together to help each other out by giving and receiving feedback!
Dedicated to the creation and improvement of Let's Plays
This subreddit is focused on critique and criticism. Much like Feedback Fridays on r/LetsPlay this is based on give and take. We need to hear your voice on submissions!
Try to find a video that hasn't received any feedback yet as a starting point. Everyone can offer useful criticism, so even if you are new, make sure to jump in and speak out about what you liked, what you didn't like, and what you'd like to see in each submitted video!
- You must provide useful feedback on at least 2 other submissions within the last week before posting each video!
Failure to do so can result in temporary or permanent bans.
We are currently working on a moderator bot that will enforce this rule and highlight top feedback providers so make sure to be helpful! It's the life blood of this sub!

So I've been trying to do let's plays, and I'm really new to them! I was hoping anyone could check out my video and give me some feedback. It's gotten about 30 views which isn't crazy but I'm not getting any comments!
So, I'd like to know thoughts on my content and how my thumbnail is because I'm doing all this myself!

Hi all. I would love to get some feedback on a new cinematic series I am doing in Minecraft. My goal is to create all of the content myself, including music, art, and animation. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. https://youtu.be/PUbLx5cMEPE

Breaking the HUGE Ice Cube in Fortnite! ❄️🔥 (What’s Inside?!)
New kids youtube show/game with my nephews. Looking for feedback on how to make it better. Obviously the next ones wont be so simple to guess, this was a test episode.
I've been doing this for more than a few years, and this video far surpassed what I thought I was going to put together. See what you think.
Hey everyone, hope you are all having a wonderful Friday! I wanted to share my progress as I finally got the courage to post my first video on my channel. I have wanted to do some form of content for a while as a creative hobby, however the fear of failing kept me from starting. I finally bit the bullet and produced my first video! It may not be perfect, but it is mine and I am proud :)
If anyone else is struggling with starting, I promise it is worth it! I had a great time making this first video and hope to keep making them in the future.
If anyone is interested, please feel free to check out the video here: https://youtu.be/D7tgZhePHwQ
I am always open to any criticism or feedback. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Hope you all have a good weekend :D
Hello, I started my YouTube channel 2 months ago. I upload videos of my 2 Kittens: Bubblez (5-Months-Old male) and Candy (3-Months-old Female). I uploaded 26 videos. Latest one was uploaded today. When I started, I was not getting any views or new subscribers, so I came across YouTube Promotion (Google Ads). I regret using that option to date. It gave me around 380 Subs in a day. I got around 10K views on my 1 video and 800 views on another. I was glad that my channel took off. Then I noticed that the watch hours from these views do not count towards the monetization. Also, when I checked the analytics of the videos, it wasn't very pleasant. The average watch duration was a 2 to 3 seconds. The promotion hurt my channel rather than help it. After that day, I decided never to use any paid promotions. I have been uploading smaller videos (2 to 5 mins long) at least 2-3 times per week. I am still not getting views or subscribers, but I will try to upload consistently, and, in the process, I am learning new things in editing every time I work on a new video. I think I have made some progress when I watch my first video that I uploaded and my recent video. Here are my 2 new videos that I uploaded recently to my YT channel. Please don't hesitate to provide you feedback as I am ready to learn from suggestions.

Should I continue to upload to this channel or create a new one?
I have given some, and I need one.

I have a variety channel and have been experimenting a ton. I stream game play among other things

Earlier I noticed that my video did poorly, likely because I messed up my intro. Returning viewers have watched and liked, commented, however... IT BOMBED
I believe it's because the beginning of my video did not clearly express the story to new viewers.
I have really been pushing myself lately and have probably messed some other-yet-noticed stuff up.
No matter how brutal you are, I need a review.
I need help identifying mistakes.
I'm betting these mistakes are growing in my gaming streams too.
In this episode of Kingdom Hearts 2 we finish off Agrabah and revisit the place where this journey began!
I've wanted to get back into LPing for a while. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come.

This is my newest video and playthrough of a supernatural stranger things inspired game called Echo Generation. Tell me what you liked, what you didn't like, how did the video and audio sound overall and if the editing was weird in any areas. Even the thumbnails if you feel like they need some work. Much appreciated!
Since there wasn’t a story mode for the new Tony hawk game, I decided to make my own. I went as far as creating levels with goals using the custom park editor for bit of spice
My most recent episode of outlast! I fight Chris Walker (run for my life from the big bald fat man!)
Howdy y’all. Been making some horror game walkthroughs lately. I always aim to give a good performance, but I like to slim things down for the viewer. Was wondering how it felt in this vid! Thanks and if anyone has any questions of there own I be happy to help.
Please check out my latest video where I tried a bit different editing style, using replays for different camera angles. I am quite happy with the results. What do you think? Does it make the video more interesting compared to standard gameplay videos? I understand normal gameplay is difficult to keep viewers attention so need to try something new :)
