Wow! Just been reminded that it’s 40 years today since the release of Breakin’ / Breakdance 🫠 Ollie And Jerry - Breakin’.. There’s No Stopping Us. Uk 45’s 1984. Celebrated this Record store day from the comfort of my couch. Almost 2 weeks later and the goods have finally arrived
Last dip into some of my Beastie Boys stash for today takes us back to the beginning. Beastie Boys - Cooky Puss. Ratcage Records 1983. RIP MCA 🙌❤️🙌
Still playing the Beasties loudly here and dancing like I’m a mad teenager again 😂 🙌 Ahh the power of music.
RIP MCA ❤️
Young Thug - Barter 6

I'm new to the whole vinyl stuff, for those of you who purchase online does your vinyl ever come warped or what not when delivered? I just wanna know before I blow any serious money.
This week, I saw Souls of Mischief (with the Pharcyde) in concert. I’ve had my eyes on 3rd Eye Vision for a while and seeing A-Plus, Opio, Phesto, and Tajai in the flesh sealed the deal for me—I needed this album. It was a great show and I’d highly recommend everyone catch these legends while they’re touring.
Also this week, I went to a MIKE show. I only started listening to him after Burning Desire came out last year but I’ve been digging into his whole catalog since then. I’d really recommend catching him live too. He’s got a great stage presence. I picked up this copy of Burning Desire at his merch stand.
Got a good deal on ATLiens off eBay, The Ghronic from derapwinkel, Conductor Machine Preorder finally came in and LP! got rereleased via Rough Trade
After The Show and No Show it’s time to put a stop to this..
Super Nature - The Show Stoppa (Is Stupid Fresh). PopArt Records 1985. Early outing from Salt N Pepa in diss mode here but I think Symbolic Three cut deeper 😂
While Boogie Down Bronx is undoubtedly my favourite Man Parrish track I still have a soft spot for This one 😍❤️ u/obscurehiphop
Hip-Hop needs to bring back real beef not some Ai Tupac (❤️) shizz mud slinging.
When answer records were cool and funny. Symbolic 3 hit back at Dougie & Rick.
Symbolic Three - No Show. UK PRT 12 1985. “Have you ever seen a show with Dougie on the mic, he doesn’t move an inch cos his shoes are too tight” 😍
