Pretty much my entire collection of amber. Details about each group in image caption.

Top mid is Baltic amber, left is Dominican amber, right is Burmese amber, and bottom is Colombian copal.

Most of them have insect inclusions such as flies, spiders, and termites.

Out of all of them I'd have to say my favorite is the big baltic amber pendant because it is the biggest clear piece ive got.

    Found in Indiana (Please Identify)

It looks similar to this at all angles, maybe it’s upside down. I’m not sure.

My greatest find so far. A large orthoconic nautiloid fossil I found near my home in Hudson Valley N.Y. Possibly from the Helderberg group but unsure. Found in May 2020 a few weeks after I began hunting for fossils. I’m lucky to live in such a rich area.

The first 23 sections of the fossilized internal shell mold can be removed. They became loose while chiseling matrix from the surface.

    Trying to Identify...

Hey! Trying to identify a fossil for my Aunt. She has a wonderful collection however the label for this one was lost some time ago. Her collection includes a trilobite and Phylloceras, all which are millions of years old, so I'm curious to identify this more exciting one!

    Thanks!

Starfish I picked up yesterday in a shop.

No information other than it was a starfish. Anyone know what period this came from? I’ve not seen one like this before, that’s why I picked it up.

Young kids from the Tara Redwood School playing in a Santa Cruz Mountains creek found something exciting that turned out to be a fossilised left radius of a Jefferson’s Ground Sloth (Megalonyx jeffersonii) a large, extinct, plant-eating mammal that had a blunt snout. Link in comments.

Lots of different trace fossils on this one. From the Fayetteville Shale area in Arkansas. There are others on the flip side as well.
