This is used to find out what rock formations are in the immediate area where your fossil was found.

Any idea what kind of fossil this is? Found in North Texas. It's probably 6 inches long and an inch wide. Looked like electrical tubing to me!

Is this fossilized bone in limestone?
Hi, first post here. A family member unearthed this chunk of limestone (or possibly dolomite) in the top few feet of soil while doing septic field work. It looks suspiciously bony, but I'm under the impression that local limestone & dolomite are too old to contain bone. Is it fossilized something else? Thank you all in advance!
Location: East-central Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Surface deposits of glacial till within a large drumlin.

Gulf of Mexico shark teeth
It was a good day at the beach in Galveston TX yesterday. I've looked for ID charts for the area but not much luck. I think these are sand and bull shark teeth but can anyone confirm? Thanks!

What is this fossil (?) in a limestone block (quarried on Kelley’s Island, Lake Erie in the mid 19th century) in Detroit?
In the limestone blocks at Historic Fort Wayne in Detroit. We know the blocks were quarried on Kelley’s Island in Lake Erie. This block is about a two feet wide. I thought it was an ammonite but I’ve seen things saying ammonites aren’t found in Lake Erie. Any ideas?

Fossil in the floor?
Hello! This interesting shape is in the floor of my parents house. My dad said the stone tile is “Jerusalem stone” if that helps. The object is about 4 inches across including the fin shape and spiny bit.
Is there a fossil in my parents’ floor or is this shape just a coincidence?
