I tried using the mod preview recently, when I click "Play with mods" with no actual mods active the game launches just fine, however when I do add mods and click "Play with mods" the game opens up and crashes. I tried reinstalling, removing the previous mod manager from the modding discord, verifying the game files, updating my driver... Nothing seems to work. Can anyone help?

Want to get all multiplayer related trophies on playstation so want to know if the mp is still active or not.

I practically grew up with the first two doom games, as well as TNT Evilution and Plutonia, the ladder being my favorite doom expansion to this day. Recently I bought Doom 1+2 on steam, to check out John Romero's Sigil, and Legacy of Rust expansions, and after completing three levels in LoR I can say.... It's very exhausting. The levels drag on for way too long to be enjoyable, the new enemies look out of place and are annoying to fight, the new textures also look out of place.... The whole expansion reeks of Custom content, and while I am all for that, it feel too out of place, and while I would probably enjoy this if it was a mod, this being an official expansion kinda feels wrong. And the gimmicks get tiring very quick. You enter a room, 12 revenants teleport in one by one, and you go to the next room where exactly the same thing happens. And the infighting battles are very spectacular... Only for about 5 seconds, then it just gets boring, as instead of playing the game, you're just running in a circle for 7 minutes. I entered this arena, right, with this new boss enemy, and I think "play, time to learn to fight this enemy, and understand how it works", but nope, about 50 zombie men teleport in, and kill the bastard and eachother. Maybe I'm missing something, but LoR just doesn't feel like doom at all.

Hey guys , i wanna play doom eternal and experience the game but, i love to be acknowledge on the story of doom games so i want to play on order. There is a lot of doom games and i think they do reboots for old games. I would love to play the newer versions , so any suggestions?

I feel that id have been gradually trying to make Doomguy into an actual character by revealing little bits about him in Eternal, and in the flashback he actually says a few words. Now TDA is taking place at the same time as the flashback, back when he still had his voice, so I'm feeling that id will give him actual dialogue in TDA.

I've called him Doomguy since TDA takes place before he earns the reputation of the Doom Slayer.

Supposedly crawls like a shellfish on the seabed, picking up corpses beneath the UAC Atlantica Rig. Fires off rusted UAC crates and other objects, utilizes a hammerhead shark head for a fist and propellers that can be shot off to reduce speed of its charges. Lights on the right arm will give off its location for easier targeting. Can be blood punched which will cause it to implode.

Is there an easy way to install Doom 2 maps like with a launcher and just a GUI to click and auto install the maps for you? I have steam

My pc has always been able to run doom eternal at high settings 60fps, but recently I need space for a new game so I temporarily uninstalled doom. Then when I reinstall it, the game only runs at around 15-25 fps no matter what settings I do, I've tried to go as low as possible but the fps didn't increase one bit. Does anyone know what problem this is? If do please help me, I really wanna replay this game lol

It seems like the only monsters I have trouble with in this game are the archvile and maruder, I can beat them but I usually end up getting killed by them too what tactics are best to combat those guys.

Was rewatching the interview with Hugo and Marty on the dark ages and them talking about how they essentially wanted the game to have an emphasis on weaving through enemy projectiles almost like a shmup really wowed me. I'm curious to know what everybody thinks about the new direction they're taking for the pacing and gameplay loop for TDA. personally, I have complete faith in ID and this is sort of the exact thing I was hoping the next doom game would be.
