Designed for Ultimate Doom levels E1M1 Thru E1M8. I used ZDoom v. 2.0. Do not play this with WinDoom as DJB has Hexen attributes. Use ZDoom or Risen3D, maybe even Legacy.

Ray (aka Shitbag) was one of the better mappers back in the day - this is from June 2004. Definitely worth a playthrough.

DIFFICULTY RATING - rating: 10
OH MY GOD! Ray really shoveled it out this time. I have some advice for you. DON'T leave any Hell knights roaming the level behind you or you WILL find yourself trapped. If you see it, kill it. Use strategy when possible and necessary but DON'T advance in the level till you've cleared an area or you are going be doing the dead guy act. I played this on UV. If you are not a seasoned veteran with some serious skills, don't even try it on this level. Go to something easier. Strafing is an important skill to possess here. You will face just about every creature that Doom2 has to offer and until you progress into the level some you have pistol and super shotgun. Be fast, be diligent and be ready!
Playability - rating: 9
There is no shortage of action in this map. I guarantee the only way you will be bored is if you play it with -nomonsters. The map is cunningly designed and brings you back through several areas repeatedly but always with more bad guys to fight. The only part that really pissed me off was the room with the blue key - God, I hate those cyberdemons.
Level Design - rating: 9
As usual, Ray puts out a top notch level with lots of cool design features and a design that will keep you on your toes. Be ready for anything and admire some of the architecture along the way but don't dawdle or you'll find yourself being sliced and diced before you can say Doom.

I thought this one was difficult but fair.
I wasn't going to include Doom 3 but there were several really good ones so I threw it in there. For Doom or Doom2 I have to say some of the Star Wars mods were really good. For Doom 3 I'm torn between Last Man Standing and Phantasm personally
So far, VDP-monster randomizer clocks in at 300 custom monsters. I'm running open world wads that need variety. Have you ever seen a mod that has more enemies? Please recommend any that has more than VDP or if there's a way to combine multiple mods together to run in tandem via any way. Any engine is fine, I'm running GZ doom
Can anyone recommend some megawads similar to Knee Deep in ZDoom Lite?
After trying a few dozen megawads, KDiZD Lite still remains my favourite and haven't found one quite like it yet. I'm as far away from a "doom purist" as possible. I love the massive levels, designed for mouselook, crouching, jumping and swimming underwater, with slopes and "room over room" 3D architecture, dynamic lights and all the goodies that gzdoom has enabled over the years.
But I also prefer the "Lite" version, so it can be played well with graphical mods. So no new monsters and weapons. Preferably only vanilla textures, as well, since I already have those replaced with high-res versions, with PBR and whatnot.
Hey guys I'm almost 6 hours in and I'm devastated at the thought of not being able to finish this amazing wad, everything was fine until now. During the the fight where the pinkys spawn in and there is like 20 cyberdemons at the center of the map with lava floors. I go from capped at 75 FPS to 3fps when I shoot the switch and the pinkys start spawning in. Every other fight until now was ok and I don't know what to do to make this work. I use DSDA Doom, CPU is i5-7400@3.00Ghz and GPU is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050.
Anything I can do or is my computer simply too weak to run this fight ? I know the secret fight is pretty huge too so I hope a fix can be found for me to run both of those 🤞
