Hey folks, me again, I'm suddenly stuck, I have a scene in my head where the MC goes with a group of others, all high ranking cultivators, and they all enter a maze, during which someone in the party presumably triggers the maze defenses, but its really just infighting, the MC and one of the cultivators, a woman, manage to survive the maze and get free of it before they're drowned at the end. ultimately the other colutivator dies, but she gives her sword to the MC to return it to her extended family

I cannot for the life of me remember which donghua that happened in. its been bugging me for the last two days now and thought to ask you fine folks for aid once again.

Just wanted to say that s2 was even more amazing that I expected. The last battle between the leads was already mind blowing with very nice graphics, but then to top it off they add the fox demon battle that she made it look so easy, her skills are fitting for her reputation, she played with the enemies like literal puppets and she only used a fraction of her power. They made my expectations high and Idk if I can handle that 😭

Watching regular 2d anime that’s not millions upon millions of budget makes me appreciate things like btth, soul land, perfect world, renegade immortal and so on, i wish good 3D animation was commonplace in anime because im hating the 2D nowadays, ill be watching a fight and just want to break my monitor, then i open up the new btth and its as if my eyes got blessed. I wish i could watch all my favourite series made by those animation companies specifically.

Please tell me that the princess chick isn't the main FL and LI. She's been so problematic over the course of the series and has literally 0 upsides. She's mean, selfish, dumb, immature and willful. Not to mention she gets mind controlled almost all the time to attack allies.

The amount of problems MC has gotten into because of her being dumb is mind-blowing. Now we have a new LI who is polar opposites and I really hope she and MC get it off.

New LI actually has to coax princess like a child and praise her to get her to be part of the team and be useful. How you almost lose your life several times and still be so dumb should be a super power.

How do you guys keep track of what you watch and what episode you are on and when new series come out? Maybe there are better sites to watch on but most of them seem to only let me bookmark 50 series at a time.

And my memory is crap so I can't remember what I've watched before or what episode I'm on or when new ones come out which days. Or what series is what or even character names I should create a cheat sheet to keep track who is who or what clan or sect or strength.

I miss aniwave used to make it easy keep track and also it translated alot of the text words that pop up on screen like names and descriptions is there anywhere that has the translations like that still?

One of my favs but the performance this season is tragic. Too much time wasting scenes, dragged on fights, etc. The plot has barely moved.

I think a lot of this is cause they merged fang xiaolin and hongyi as one character. Another reason why people need to stick to source material.

It's not so much about catering to novel readers but ensuring the cut and paste version you created from the novel is actually a good story and runs smoothly instead of janky plotholes and characters acting out of character.

I mean it wasn't a bad season per say but I do hope they speed it up a bit. The latest episode, spent way too much time watching that demon fight. I mean his moves look cool but I never liked the guy, idk why hes getting this much screen time either.

Is there any news if it will be season 9? It ended Season 8 with eps 380.

Theory/Question - Had a convo with a fellow donghua lover yesterday and the discussion was mainly about side characters. My thoughts has always been that too high of an emphasis is place on the MC and other characters aka side characters such as the MC's friend/ family /master or worse enemies has an abundant of talent and never gets the recognition they truly deserved.

QUESTION- If you could create the perfect side character in the donghua world but you had to choose 3 side characters, who would you choose? for me:

1)Shi Yi from PW - Ive always love characters with eye powers and ShI Yi is a genius among genius, Imo he's no less talented than Shi Hao, his flaw was placing too much time into just his eyes and not getting other inheritance as shi hao did. Shi Hao leaving him behind cultivation wise should've never happen imo.

2)Wen Tianren- From RMJI --Amazing aptitude with good looks that captivate the Ladies. A HAREM IS A MUST!!

3)He Wushuang or DI CHONG from PW again- strength, power, genius and ruthless.
