Does anybody else think it’s a little weird that everytime a talk show host retires or plans to retire, all of a sudden these weird stories come out about them that defames them? Like the whole Ellen thing and then with James Corden. Even watched an interview where Leno said something along the lines of how when you leave, people start writing stories about you. Why and what is the fascination in doing so? Just something I’ve been thinking about.

So i am working on debunking this conspiracy theory. That has been on the internet for awhile and still is, ive seen this on reddit alot especially. Majority believe that the writer are from the future and some say no. However, i think no the writers arent from the future they are just peoples from the present. Which i will debunk in this subreddit later i just want to know your opinion on it. I am open to any opnion.

For the longest time I can remember even when I was younger - I always felt like at some point in time as a nation we will face something really bad. Something you would see in movies (coincidentally more and more of the movies and shows are odd predictor’s of what’s to come). As of late everyone knows what a shamble our nation is in and the world around us, especially post Covid. But I can’t help shake that this isn’t all planned. What confirmed it for me was during Covid my sister and I were cleaning out her room and going through some stuff stored under her bed - mind you this stuff hasn’t been touched in years, and Covid was the perfect time to clean house. At the bottom of the container was a single Cards Against Humanity card facing down. I picked it up and it read something along the lines of (I don’t have the card in front of me at the moment) “The CDC will declare the outbreak to originate from _______”. When I read that aloud we both just sat there and this really weird feeling of dread and doom and heaviness overcame us both. We could not believe that this 1 card of the entire deck that hasn’t even been on this house for years was at the bottom of this container, under bed and stored away for a very long time - long before Covid. Since then I feel like I’ve been seeing signs and things make more sense, my perspective of the world has shifted and this feeling of doom got stronger. I’ve always had stuff to be “prepared” but I couldn’t help but shake this feeling to up the ante on getting more prepared. The classes I’ve taken, the food I’ve ordered and plans I’ve made to prepare may seem crazy to others but the times TODAY are proving me to not be so crazy after all. If you can see, you know what I’m talking about. Anyone else get that feeling? Or maybe had some real revelation to “see” more clear?. I don’t follow the news a whole lot as it’s filled with paranoia and negative energy but I am in tune with that’s going on elsewhere and it’s dark, it’s evil, and it’s spreading like a plague.

He thought this weird piece of something might be linked to the UFO flights reported by the public recently. He took the piece to Roswell's Sherif on 7th july. This drew the attention of an army officer, Colonel William Blanchard.He was the commanding officer of the Roswell Army Airfield (RAAF). The next day, RAAF released a statement saying that,
the rumours of the flying disks had come true."The 509th Bomb Group of the 8th Airforce,
Roswell Army Airfield was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disk."The US Army claimed to have received proof of UFOs.But the next day,the US Army Officials retract their stance.They said that the debris they were presented with was from a weather balloon.As proof, photos of Major Marcel were released,where he can be seen with the pieces of the weather balloon. In January 2017, 13 million pages of declassified documents were released by the CIA online.
In these documents, you will find several records or the UFO sightings and the experiments carried out by the CIA.

In January 2021, once again, thousands of documents on UFOs were declassified by the CIA, Today, the US government doesn't refer to these as UFOs, because of the heavy association of the term with aliens, instead, the US government now uses the term UAP. Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.

It is believed that the UFOs,are part of some highly classified program. On which the government agency of some country is working. Even now, Area 51 is an area where next generational aircrafts are tested. Today, Area 51 has become a global sensation.

I've just deconverted from Christianity, but I believed a lot of theories when I was one. Now that I'm not, I'm wondering how I can rationalise them through a secular lens?

i’m a junior in high school right now planning a student led class focusing around conspiracy theories for my senior year. basically there’s this period at my school after winter break where students are given the opportunity to create and lead a course for 3 days (the courses last 3 hours each day), and i just need activity ideas for each day. basically what me and my friend are thinking about doing is focusing on political conspiracies (ex: jfk, 9/11) for day 1, cults/religious conspiracies (ex: scientology) for day 2, and miscellaneous conspiracies for day 3 where the students can research whatever theory they’re interested in and then make a video essay about it at the end of the day. me and my friend think we’re gonna incorporate discussions and video essays/documentaries/podcasts into each day, but i want it to be more engaging than just sedentary discussions and watching videos. does anyone have any ideas?

(also any video essay/documentary/podcast recs for any of the topics i mentioned above or any other suggestions would be much appreciated!!)

So because the universe is continuously expanding, our place in the universes individual people is always changing. If we stand still on a spot on Earth, we are instantly very far away from where we were when we started standing still in that spot. Because the planet we are on is so far from where it was a moment ago.

So if we stood in or on a Time Machine and turned back the clock we would end up in empty Space that the earth has not reached yet.

But if we could tether the Time Machine to something like a monument or mountain clock we could have a reference point in time and space for travel, we’d know a location in relation to where the monument is and when it is there.

I noticed like a LOT of right wing influencers are selling body supplements and pills and shakes and stuff of that nature.

Seems kinda odd. Like a lot of them are critical of vaccines but they're going around doing so many ads for all these pills/powders/whatever that do who knows what.

I'm a gardener. I keep getting weather forecasts that report it's going to frost or freeze (below 34 or 32) which would be regular for this area, so I bring my plants in. But then when I go outside during the night, it's easily 40, and it is borderline impossible on a normal consumer site to just get the answer to "what was the low temp last night". You have to get into the data sheets from the local airport or the national weather service. And for a gardener, common hobby, this is a normal piece of information to want to know, why is it not googleable? Even the AI bots won't tell you. But when you do find it low and behold it hasn't dropped below 40 once in the last 3 weeks, but according to the forecast it should have froze about 5 times.

So short version is I think the weather forecasts are being altered so we don't realize how fucked we are. :) happy spring to all my other gardeners out there though it's almost tomato time
