Listened to an interesting podcast that said some of the bigfoot sightings could be attributed to ferrel people living in the forests. This is an interesting concept, but doesn't explain away the enormous size of the bigfoot siting recorded.

what do you think this could be?
Idk I really thought the cripple foot was kinda compelling
I live in Florida and I want to find one. I live near West Palm beach which is an hour north of Miami . Where can I find him?
He was in my sketchbook all along.
Does anyone have a link to that famous documentary segment from like 15+years ago where a women who lives in the woods claims Bigfoot comes and visits her and asked for food? She also shows how they kill deer by sneaking up behind a deer decoy and ripping its head off. I found it last year but I can’t seem to find it anymore. Thanks for any help
Just a Michigan black bear 🐻 but this is Bigfoot country.
I wouldn't want to find this in the woods looking for mushrooms or something like that. Do y'all think it's real, looks pretty convincing.
Hi, I am making a Bigfoot documentary and am looking for the full Snow Walker footage. On the internet it appears to be only available as part of another show (ie with music and voice over) or uploaded in really awful quality. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks
Look at this photos from Shegeresh, Kemerovo Oblast, 2011...

To me looks like a costume, especially the calf does not look right. Is there any chance it is a real living animal ?
My guess is it is a large 6'6 - 7'0 tall man in a costume made with real animal fur, possibly a bear, but it may be anything the same color. I was asked what kind of hominid would this be, so I ask if it is definitely a costume or not, even if I have my opinion already.
My girl made me this crochet bigfoot.
Robby Vegas, Rock-n-Roll star, Professional wrestler and Bigfoot experiencer. Not only that Robby has numerous paranormal experiences as well!
While driving out to a Wrestling match with a couple other wrestlers Robby passes through what could only be called a dead zone, no lights, no radio signals, no cellphone coverage and next to no houses. It gave the group a bit of an eerie feeling, but they continued on to the match. After the show they all decided to save money by driving home that night instead of getting a hotel room. As they entered the "dead zone". Robby started messing with the other guys as they were freaked out and worried they would encounter a Bigfoot. He pulled out his cellphone and was flashing it around laughing. But fate had a royal flush to play against him and as they rounded a corner there standing in the road towering over 8ft tall was none other than a sasquatch. Roby dropped his phone out of terror and they all froze in fear. The bigfoot took a couple of steps and left the road as they passed on by!
Robby then recounts another experience out hiking where he stumbled upon an extremely large clawed footprint. Not only that but he was being pelted by berries, something was wanting him to leave the area and fast. Robby believes that it was another sasquatch, but I suggested it could also have been a dogman or a werewolf.
Finally Robby talks about his encounters while and after using a ouija board, a tool that I highly distrust and will never use again. He had been given the ouija board and decided to take it home. He and a friend used the ouija board and then after that.... He talks about some malevolent spirit trying to force it's way into his room. A little girl playing and laughing in the house when there were no little girls there at all. Also a picture of Jesus flying off the wall and hitting him in the back. These are just some of the many ghostly paranormal experiences he had.
Robby sure has had many different experiences throughout the years, from the Bigfoot sighting, the possible sasquatch footprint, and the demonic, supernatural experiences he's encountered, it's no wonder he protects himself, and has tried to close the door on these experiences.
Apart from the sierra sounds this has always been the most intriguing supposed bigfoot audio recording to me. I haven't seen it garner much attention on this subreddit, what for you guys think about it? This is from St Louis county Minnesota
Coast to Coast Bigfoot expert Larry Battson passed away from complications of Parkinson’s Disease on September 1, 2023. While the majority of America was grieving the loss of Jimmy Buffett, a much smaller community of Bigfoot and animal lovers was grieving the loss of a beloved friend. On Thursday, May 16, 2024 Larry Battson would have been 72 years old.
Larry was not just a Bigfoot expert, he was a worldwide known animal expert, spending 45 years traveling the Midwest with his wife to bring animals into a classroom setting (personally, my favorite day of the year growing up was “Larry the Animal Guy” day!).
So rather you knew him from C2C or as Larry the Animal Guy, I would like to hear your memories of Larry.
My personal favorite is that when I was in sixth grade, my class did a rainforest project where we turned our school lobby into a rainforest with dioramas of different animals. After his program, he stayed after to speak to us sixth graders on our projects and asked questions about different animals we had done. He also was the commencement speaker six years later at our high school graduation.
It was an honor to get to know him, rather you knew him through Bigfoot, his animal advocacy, or just as a friend. It was my honor to share a birthday with him.
May he rest easy.
Disclaim that!
Verbatim;
“ An issue with bringing back some very endangered animals is actually if they’ll be too inbred. I think that we’ve abandoned a species solely because of that danger on one occasion.
Bigfoot, if real, has a clearly undetermined range and breeding population. It’s not impossible to say that there’s a sizable amount, but I’d argue to say it’s around the amount humans and our close relatives have in situations of heavy isolation over millennia in an environment that limits population size.
In my opinion, Bigfoot is Australopithecus or Homo, maybe a Tchadensis or other early hominid. They shade the defining features we’ve had since Tchadensis, mostly upright posture, albeit hairier and larger than any known examples of these relatively small apes, and most definitely further specialized for stealth. If I had to guess, I’d say an early African exit of Homo Erectus or a previous/contemporary species that led it to convergently evolve with Paranthropus, leading to it able to grow larger in North America. The only other Bigfoot “species” I believe in is the Rock Apes of Vietnam, mostly because of the sightings from the Vietnam war which make sense to me.
I think that if these creatures share this origin, American ones would be rarer immediately. Paranthropus convergence makes sense for their mostly peaceful nature, and they definitely don’t eat much meat atleast. Their hairy covering is just an adaptation to mostly the Northern bits of North America, since they would have come from the Beiring land bridge. Their rareness would have been more of a mutually acknowledged environmental pressure that restricted their breeding habits, since they wouldn’t want to eat everything in a single area. Dispersal would be rare and over a large area to make sure tribes/families/individuals didn’t consume each other’s food and water supplies.
Pretty much, they have always been rare and we’ve probably killed very few. To me, they’re just extremely specialized hominids who live in a very strange way to us and are thusly not easy to find. I wouldn’t be surprised if they practiced funerary cannibalism, had designated areas to defecate at, and buried their dead in a ritualistic way, stemming from semi-sapient intelligence and knowledge of needing to hide from little men with no fur and thunder sticks. “
To add on, the Rock Ape is believable because during the Vietnam War, the sightings were short and always portrayed them in a territorial ape way. More aggressive, certainly, known to throw rocks during US Troop’s engagement with the VC mostly. They’re more chimp-like in description I guess is the term, being around the size of a man and a similar build to someone who works out for function instead of form.
I don’t believe in any other region’s reporting, Southeast Asia and most of North America is a perfect climate to stay hidden and also get some extremes out of humankind’s genetics.
There is also evidence Homo Erectus was in America before the Native American populations migrated here. Homo Erectus evolved 2 million years ago, it’s highly likely other culture groups of them have migrated previous to this very likely example. There were multiple “Out of Africa” events after all.
While native tribes have stories of “bigfoot”, there’s a video by Trey The Explainer that I find interesting going over why each of these stories are almost definitely reporting something else. I can see some being passed down long enough to muddy the water or just being based on an existing hominid, but most don’t have any grounds.
I tried making it a bit humerous. The central theme is about a trip I took with my partner to Willow Creek the self proclaimed "Bigfoot Capital of The World." I put in a bunch of work and spent weeks editing I hope this community enjoys it. Not many people at my local community college vibe with Bigfoot, but I was inspired to write after talking with a fellow Bigfoot believer in my journalism class. So I hope this community find some enjoyment from it.
I would greatly appreciate any criticism and advice about future Bigfoot destinations.
Thank you and I hope you enjoy this article.
Of note, the guy who filmed this was a tourist renting a cabin and in the same County we had our experience. Notice how the dog run in its direction then veers left.
Tonight, going out to hopefully see more of the norther lights, I had a young, probably was the newborn from the book come down near me as I sang out on the porch. I heard it make three soft steps unlike any other animal. After that, I wanted to let it know I was his friend, so I went out to the log 50ft away, and put an apple on it for Him. I was so glad thinking I was making a friend with a young Bigfoot, that this could change the worlds understanding.
When I was back in my home I heard some odd Bigfoot yelling. The family hated it.
A little later on, I went back out on my porch again in the hopes of seeing the northern lights, but the moon was too bright. I heard purposeful steps to the north, and the south for a reason. They were much stronger than the two-year-old gentle steps. I felt that they had sent a message to the two year old, and that is fine. But I'm not going to just go away as might think possible, I have the arrogance of being human, where humility actually precedes arrogance.
Faith first, I did not faulter, but stayed, as I wondered, were they annoyed that their two-year-old had made contact, or that they were jealous like most people would be? Time will tell, and I'm not running away.
