How do we define an actual conspiracy?
A plan developed in secret between two or more people that is either unlawful or harmful that has been discovered and investigated by a reliable third party organisation.
They can be criminal, military, business, political or simply immoral.
Make your submissions interesting.
Here's our philosophy in a nutshell.
All conspiracies can be investigated with the scientific method.

[YEAR OF CONSPIRACY] NEWS ORGANIZATION reports on CONSPIRACY SUMMARY
Submitters have to have both read and summarized in their own words or with quotes all the key aspects of the conspiracy in the title. No headline copying or vague submissions.
Link posts can only contain references to established third party news organizations which include liberal amounts of third party evidence that can be publicly corroborated.
Any banned media sources will be killed.
If the actual conspiracy is from a while back, prepend the year, e.g. [1984], to your submission.
No fringe, unsupported and highly speculative conspiracy theorist sources will be allowed here.
Why is the organization so important?
It's because readers must clearly know who is reporting on something, because that is just as important as what they are reporting. We don't have infinite time, so use reputable sources.
Text post template:
Hypothesis: What's the conspiracy? Be specific.
Players/Incentives: List all relevant players with their incentives. Be specific.
Estimated likelihood: X% chance of reality matching hypothesis.
Third party evidence/Arguments: References supporting the hypothesis. Be specific.
Then the community verifies what you think using extreme scepticism + empiricism + science. This is a bastardized version of peer review.
The default position is that the "conspiracy does not exist".
After tearing your references to shreds, if the hypothesis still stands to probabilistic reason, the conspiracy is upgraded to "plausible".
Unless third party evidence (court documents, investigative pieces by reliable news organizations, etc.) arrives to explicitly support the theory it will remain "plausible", after which it can be listed as "confirmed".
Theories that are debunked will only periodically be allowed back in the sub.
DISALLOWED COMMENTS
The following comments are unconducive to proper discussion and will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned.
/r/conspiracy style cynicism, up to and including claims that the mainstream media is burying the story in question. Don't go there.
Racism, sexism, homophobia, and the like. We do not tolerate these comments in the least. Expect them to be removed and you to be mocked and banned with extreme prejudice.
Non-factual accusations of being paid to comment (the shill gambit).
These are our favourite razors:
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity
When faced with competing hypotheses, select the one that makes the fewest assumptions.
What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

There’s some technology we encourage, others we discourage, and then there’s the ones that can kill us all, and we put the most effort into those.
We live in a world that is still in the warring stage, this is why we focus on deadly technology.
Most of humanity might already have the cognitive empathy to be beyond the warring stage, but we’re not the ones in power.
It’s communication technology that gives people power, but that’s one of the technologies we discourage.
Long before the printing press, technology has been hoarded, and feared. It wasn’t just those in power who were scared of the uncontrolled proliferation of the printing press, anyone aware at that time would’ve been worried about where it might lead.
All knowledge and communication technology is often referred to as a Noosphere. On an earlier post, I give a quote from the human energy conference, and I show where to find it. It’s one of many example’s of the efforts to obstruct and control the Noosphere. Nothing has changed. It’s kind of sad that they think they’re doing good in the world.
Humans evolved in lock step with the Noosphere, as it evolved so did we, and our cognitive empathy along with it, this is despite the fact we have always resisted its advancement.
Looking back over time, do you really think it was wise to always be resisting the Noosphere?
What would’ve happened if we would’ve had a free press hundreds of years earlier?
Would we be in a better position today in regard to conflict? Would we have been in a better position to deal with nuclear capabilities? Global warming? Artificial intelligence?
In the original concept of the Noosphere, it was hypothesized that eventually we, along with the technology, will develop into something resembling a worldwide brain. If we could consider this to be a long-term goal, then obviously eventually we will all need to know what everybody else is thinking, accurately. Along with this will come a higher understanding of one another, which will lead to more cognitive empathy from everyone.
Our small group believes the answer is in building a worldwide public institution, of public opinion.
Help us change the world, with what we hope will be the most trusted and transparent institution the world has ever seen.

Instagram repetitive comments
First of all, I’m not a native english speaker, please take it easy on me… the thing I want to discuss is if someone has had this estrange thing that it’s been happening for a long time for me. Do you see similar reels on Instagram with the literal same intactions on different accounts? I’m not saying coincidences literal copies in a chain of comments. Like 3-4 weeks ago I saw a reel about the Christmas truce in 1914 and there where two comments that stick with me. A guy asking “How in the hell could you continue fighting them after that... at that point, you're killing a brother.” And other responding “many couldn't on bolth sides and those soldiers got re assigned to other places”. Today I saw a similar reel about that trice again (it was posted 10h ago) and those same comments of weeks ago where there, but they where posted 6h ago. This has been happening to me multiple times, on multiple reels of similar content for months. What could it be?

I swear I thought this sub was active.. Guess not. Well, if anyone sees this post please point me in the direction of, if any exist, a conspiracy sub that isn't just a giant circle jerk for conservative copium addicts.
Like, guys... The conspiracy that there's been Russian intervention in our elections has been proven. Why are you all supporting a party that Russia, our #1 enemy throughout all of history, wants to win. You really think they want what's best for our country?

Politics are actually a psyop on the general public called "controlled opposition."
Politics are there to give us the illusion of democracy and freedom...not to support their actual function.
They make us feel like our voices are being heard and our opinions matter, when they clearly aren't and do not.
