I know North of 71 is West Park. What is this area considered?
My cat went missing almost a week ago. My husband and I feel like we have looked everywhere and I feel like I am losing my mind trying to find him. We walked the neighborhood in the middle of the night, looked in/under our immediate neighbors' yards/decks, left out humane traps with our clothing, dirty litter, catnip, kibble, tuna, and bought motion detection cameras. Last week (on the day he went missing), our city started redoing our road and likely will resume this week. I am nervous that the road maintenance will keep him from returning home. We don't think he's far. There was a potential spotting about 3 days ago a few streets away and I would feel so much better if I had him home before the road maintenance resumes. I am starting to feel like a K9 scent-detection dog is the only way we will find him at this point. Attached is a picture of our sweet boy!
So, earlier this past week, a few students (who were trying to protect a mural they painted) were literally painted over by some contractors. The university stated the mural’s message was “intimidating,” “threatening,” and “antisemitic.” So far, I haven’t been able to find the mural the students painted. And, given the climate, I don’t entirely trust the university president’s official statement. Anyway, I’d like to see the original mural for myself and come to my own conclusions. If anyone knows if the original mural is online somewhere, I’d love to see it. (Edited to correct autocorrect typos)
Hi Everyone!
This is my first post within the Cleveland subreddit! I am excited to be moving here for work! Over the past couple of weeks I have been looking for apartments around the Beachwood and Solon area as well as Parma, however I am truly struggling with finding good options. The reviews are so conflicting and confusing.
My main priority is safety. My budget is $1350 and I am fine with a studio or a single bedroom apartment. I will be working within downtown but I am completely okay with traveling up to 25 minutes or a bit more if need be. At the moment I have three tours booked with Arbor Court, The Vantage, and Hummingbird Pointe.
My head is hurting terribly with all the apartment search. It’s my first time doing all of this since I am on my own as a first generation student freshly graduated from college.
If anyone has any tips or recommendations please do share, I am truly thankful for anything. Thank you so so much.
where can i go to view these bad boys right now? i’m currently at edgewater park, but i can’t see anything besides a raccoon feasting on garbage.
The sky was just clearing up and started seeing some light action for the northern lights and who comes blazing up with lights are blinding? Not one but two of this country's finest. He walked to every single car to say "PARK IS CLOSED"
Cool. Thanks for ruining a beautiful memory for so many there. There's a reason why I cringe every single time I see a cop in this country. It's because of bullshit like this.
Sure making this place a better place to live. Holy shit we all dodged a bullet there. Them northern lights were about to take us all out.
I've never owned a car in Ohio before, but I purchased a used beater car a couple weeks ago, and finally got the title in my name yesterday. I still have to register it, and the BMV website is, for some reason, completely confusing me. Apparently I need someone to explain this to me like I'm a little kid. I know I have to get the car inspected for emissions or something, but I have no idea how, or where to go. The site says something about an e-check with a kiosk, but I have no idea if it will work on a beat up little '06. Could someone please write me a step by step of how to go from where I am (temporary tags and a title) to where I need to be (license plate and registration)? I'm sorry. I feel dumb asking, but I don't want to screw it up and run out of time, or spend extra money, or something like that. Thank you for your time ☺️
Beautiful shoreline shot
wtf is going on in Euclid rn. All these sirens have been heading down to 200th street for the past 20 minutes. Nothing yet on citizens
My kid likes it and I’d like to try to make it with them. Anyone WL cook on here?
Can't see shit, where should I go? I'm local.
Trollolol. But FRFR, pending cloud coverage, we are aiming to go inland (or less light viewing area) to catch a glimpse leaving from Ridge/480 area.
Any suggestions which way to drive? Prefer not to drive more than 20 mins. We aren't super familiar outside of the ciry and would appreciate any input. 💗
Thank you!
My girlfriend and I are coming to Cleveland next weekend for a short getaway.
What are some must try restaurants? We’ve been to Lucky’s Cafe and Fat Cats in Tremont and loved both. We’re willing to travel 20-30 minutes outside of the city too.
Thanks in advance!
I've tried 3 of their locations (Cle Hts, Lakewood and N Olmsted), and the food is great in all of them. It always tastes fresh and homemade, they're pretty quick, and price is very reasonable. They clearly employ latinos, which is great, and they always have a smile on their face and a positive attitude. Cheers to Cilantro!
Went to the Cleveland Zoo and got to FINALLY see the new Baby Gorilla!
Besides the usual crap from my last post (lingering cars, a fight every 30 min, and of course broomboy) they repainted the whole thing! At 1am! With a loud as hell machine that carried them to and from the roof! While broomboy swept! And it's the same color as before! It actually looks really good. They also put in some rooftop light fixtures which did wonders aesthetically. I'm sure the dealers/pimps will be impressed next time they deliver their goods/people
Edited - took below pic. she's gorgggggeousssss
Hi, I missed the northern lights last night and was wondering if they will be present again. Im out in Beachwood so there’s a lot of light pollution blocking a good view. Lmk! Thanks.
I couldn’t believe how bright it was outside, and how vibrant the pink and green were! Never expected it to be this incredible. Shot on iPhone 13 Mini, unedited.
Basically what text says. I put my pet down and am not in the mood for a concert. Would be happy to sell for $35
Looking for a place to grab after dinner drinks tonight, preferably a place that serves cocktails and is like a lounge, not looking for a club or somewhere in the flats. Let me know if you have any hidden gems!
