I played RE: Nemesis when it came out. Now that it's on Game Pass, I played the RE3 remake and it's a marvelous game but being honest, Nemesis in hardcore and inferno are totally bullshit. I'm a Dark Souls lover so I enjoy a challenging game but I hate any artificial difficulty in any game. In RE3 Inferno Nemesis last stage there's no fair strat to follow. It's a random fight with no space to improve your skills. After beating the game, I leave with a feel of how lucky I was and not a sense of victory for how good was my performing. Stunlocking the player without any means to react or recover it's a cheap way to imitate challenging. I know Capcom doesn't care because this is an old game and they grab the money already but for the sake of the series I hope they never repeat this bullshit.

So I watched a friend play RE2 Remake and I thought “I got this”. So I started playing and I wasn’t really scared. Then he showed up. You know. The man with the hat. Mr. X.

Now I am no stranger to creepy games. Dark Souls, Dishonored, Bioshock, the works. But for some absolutely crazy reason this absolute unit has me so skittish I cannot bring myself to play the game. The thought of this early 2000s Matrix movie looking unit of a man fills me with so much anxiety I cannot entertain the thought of playing the game.

How do I handle the game well enough to be able to overcome my fear of Mr. X? If it helps I started with Claire because I was told that was the canon route of Claire then Leon.

What Is Everyone's Favorite Resident Evil And Least Favorite Resident Evil Game/s? My Favorites Are Resident Evil(2002) And Resident Evil 4(2005). My Least Favorites Are Resident Evil 6 And The Survivor And Dead Aim Games.

Does resident evil 1 have a remastered like 2,3,&4? I haven't played all the resident evil games yet only 2, 4, 5, 6, & 7. I saw a couple videos on 1 but it looks like the old version.

I've been playing through RE2 again on Steam trying to get every achievement and unlockable and find it way harder than I remember. I originally played through it on PlayStation 4 but never platinumed it. I sort of breeze through other games in the series, including 7, 8, RE3 & RE4 remakes, but RE2 Remake has me beat. The only other game that gave me this much trouble was RE8's Village of Shadows (which is just ridiculous and I gave up on) but the other games I managed to do fairly easily.

I think it comes down to Leon's scenarios and how sluggish he feels to control, combined with Tyrant being a pain in the ass. He's easy enough to dodge and outmanoeuvre, but when he spawns in it seems to also spawn in a bunch more basic mobs too which he will almost certainly force you into. I forgot about this, and took a bit of time to slash some Lickers in places I knew I would need to backtrack through with Tyrant on my ass, but as I was evading him, more Lickers and Zombies had spawned in. I know you can walk to avoid Tyrant finding you, but I seem to have horrible luck with it.

Then you've got the movement in the game, Leon (and Claire) control like tanks despite not having actual tank controls. They slide around a lot too, combined with the relatively tight confines of the RPD's narrow hallways, rooms and other locations. All this definitely makes it feel like an actual horror game (something RE3 and RE4 kind of lack) but also make it so much more difficult especially since a lot of basic zombies seem to just latch onto you from any angle.

I am not looking forward to doing this with just three saves, it's already rough enough doing it in under 3 hours.

I was wondering do you ever find upgrades for it? I was reading some forums and apparently a lot of people don't like it? To hell with them all because I'm using one of my all-time favorite weapons In a remake of one of my all-time favorite games. Are you freaking kidding me a Colt Single Action Army in RE2R!?!?!?! YEEEEEHAW BOYS!!!! LET'S DO THIS!!!!

But seriously is their major drawbacks to this weapon? Can I upgrade it at any point? Is this going to be my main weapon for a majority of the game?

First of all, how do these guy even find those glitches in the first place ? they just seem so random you cannot find them by mistake right ?

Also, after glitching the map a bit, he did encounter some ennemies that were not supposed to be here, like mendez in his final form before he loses half his body, why would re4 programmers put some entity in such random and inacessible places ? what's the point ?

Hi, im not a really educated in guns or anything in that area so i was wondering what are the pouches on his right side up his gun holster, im asuming they are ammo holsters but i cant find any that look similar to them, wondering if some one can give me the name of the holster or model if you had cosplayed this exact model skin and what alternative did you use if you didnt find any. I've completed the game, but I cannot find the leech hunter mode? Ive searched everywhere and it tells me that it should say "00/clear" it even said after i completed the main story, "You can now play wesker and leech hunter mode" But why cant i then? Is there anything I can do to get it? Currently trying to get an achievement with finding all the guns, but i cant complete that, if its not from my actual main story save, to the leech hunter mode..Help?!

So I'm new to these games and have ofcourse heard of it haha. I played Resident Evil Village for the first time and completed it and loved it. Im hooked. Now I wanna play more but I'm not sure which one to choose since there are alot and alot of editions, remasters, versions etc... Hi, I was hoping someone here could help me out with suggestions of settings and/or mods to make the HD Remaster of the first game look as good as possible on a high refresh rate 1440p monitor. From my understanding so far I need to edit the config file with Resolution=2560x1440 and RefreshRate=120hz as well as setting FrameRate to Variable and that should get me 1440p @ 120fps? I'm seeing conflicting information on whether full screen vs windowed matters for this. And then are any of the AI upscaled background mods worth bothering with?

Resident Evil 8 made me feel dizzy, nauseous and tired especially in 3rd person mode, I played it for 15 minutes, looking for items and going around the same room. After I exited the game and shutdown the pc, lay down on the bed and my body became calm again and the dizziness decreased. What's wrong with this game? Is this game specifically designed for players to exit the game as quickly as possible or stay in the game until they vomit?
