Anyone know where to get a good chicken kiev in the Burlington area?

I’m planning to order some pizza tonight to celebrate the end of my flu but I also kind of want wings. Leonardo’s website is super vague about their wings, it only lists regular, hot, fire, and sweet. Does anyone know exactly what these are? Are any of them like bbq?

I’ve only played Carrom once but really enjoyed it and saw that Delight has a board in the back. Could be fun to get a group together to play.

Specifically, we would create State agencies and departments to replace existing Federal ones, while pushing for a buildup in local manufacturing, alternative energy, and agriculture. We hope to simultaneously work to strengthen workers’ rights, LGBTQ protections, and affordable healthcare. Eventually, moving on to help establish legal pathways for secession. While this is not our main focus, our hope is that if legal pathways were there, it would give states the leverage needed to hold the Federal Government accountable. Giving power back to the people, rather than the corporations and private interest groups. While also serving as a last resort for New England, or any region, in an increasingly corrupt system. That being said, our main focus is on creating stronger states and local governments rather than secession. And we wouldn’t pursue that until our other goals were met.

This movement exists for 3 purposes:

1. To develop an organization that will push for ballot initiatives that increase the legislative, judicial, and economic autonomy of our states from the rest of the US union.
2. To develop an organization that will aid local and regional businesses to grow, allowing New England to become more economically independent from the rest of the union.
3. To support the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness, a promise that New England had a major part in establishing when the US union was first formed. A promise that the federal government has long since given up on.

Hi! I’m a sophomore at UVM (with a car!) and looking for part time barista gig (preferably under 20hr/week) and I have around 2 years experience from my cafe at home. This is a frequent topic of discussion on this subreddit, and I'd note that in the last few weeks BTV was considering fining cat owners whose cats were outside.

I'd propose a strict leash law in BTV and all public areas. If the city has the money to concoct the cat ordinance then they must have to money to pay for it. That money would be better spent with public officers empowered to immediately confiscate any dog found off leash in the city limits. Any dog running free at Red Rocks, impounded, any dog on the bike path, impounded, at any place other than the designated off leash areas, immediately impound the dog and charge $200 to get the dog. Repeat violations would mean the dog is forfeit.

I'm tired of the "my dog is under voice control" or "my dog has never been aggressive before" crowd. If you have a dog, and you leave your house with it, it must be on a leash or you risk having it impounded.

Has anybody else noticed the foul smell on North Union street? I noticed it maybe two weeks ago and it still stinks over there. In the beginning, Jack had a groove. And thanks to heavyweight house heroes like Harry Romero, that groove is now back.  Harry, in case you missed the musical memo, is a house music legend with classic club cuts like ‘Tania’, ‘Night @ The Black’ and ‘I Go Back’ with Robert Owens under his belt, but really that’s just the tip of the iceberg as his current catalogue will attest. Harry’s 2021 saw releases and remixes on labels from Crosstown Rebels to Hot Creations and Classic Recordings, and 2022 and 2023 saw him release on Defected for the first time since the mighty ‘Revolution’. 2024, meanwhile, will see him follow up his ’23 summer smash ‘Fool for Love’ with a second release on Chris Lake’s Black Book imprint. He’s also signed a multi-single deal with Defected.

See, from then to now, Harry represents one thing: and that’s pure quality. His inspirations growing up tell the same story. From the mid to late 80s he listened to Tony Humphreys on the radio and followed Todd, Masters At Work and Fingers Inc. To wave his own flag and in 2023 he scored another major hit with ‘Fool for Love’ which was a bonafide smash on radio and on streaming platforms and featured vocals from UK songstress Leo Wood: the track was called ‘Fool for Love.’ They even found time to perform the song together in Barcelona. It was a moment.

I moved away last year, but just heard from a few friends that city market is about to do some big layoffs. When I used to work there I heard rumors that the downtown issues would force it, that the negotiations were extraordinarily mismanaged, and the president makes over 200k. Is this true? If so is it because of one of thes, all, or something else?

Tbh, I really liked working there. My boss was awesome, had been around a while and really knew what he was doing. His boss however, the store manager, was a bit of a power trippy jerk.
