Sorry if this is a weird post. I love cats, I’m a cat person, and I’ve had cats before but my current place doesn’t allow pets of any kind and I’m seriously missing my cats living with my parents a couple states over.
Is there anywhere I can go where I can interact with cats without the precedent of adopting?
Are there any 24 hour pharmacies in Boulder? Or even Superior, Broomfield, Louisville, etc.?
Hi Boulder community! My name is Tina Marquis, and I’m serving on the Boulder City council. I’m trying to broaden my outreach in 2025. I try to visit this thread every so often, and will try to post events or surveys. You can also subscribe to my monthly-ish newsletter at https://www.tinaforboulder.com/subscribe.
Last night some friends and I were approached by a grey fluffy cat around Grove street. The cat was extremely friendly, acted comfortable and normal, rubbing against us for pets and such. After a couple minutes my friend bent down to let the cat smell her and the cat latched on to her hand leaving some crazy scratches and bites. The cat didn’t have a collar or any identification, but it was mentioned that was a neighborhood cat or something. I have no problem with stray cats, but If anyone has any info about this cat please please share. It can obviously be really scary to be bitten by a cat that you don’t know, just in case of any unknown stuff going on in the cat. She received medical attention and is being put on antibiotics, so no need to panic! Poor guy must’ve gotten overwhelmed or scared, which is a natural reaction. Just wanna make sure all is okay with the friend. Any information about the cat is so appreciated.
I'm in need of recommendations for local business that can print a logo onto high quality athletic wear. I'm nervous that some places will have the logo peel or fade when the fabric is stretched/ worn/ getting sweaty.
Any recommendations?
Does anyone have a current or recent student of Centennial and willing to share their experience at the school? Thanks for input.
How is everyone dressing for OMW? 58 and cloudy is throwing me for a loop. I’m doing the bike and run. I did a race two weeks ago but it was freezing, so I pulled out all the cold weather clothes.
So, friends from Europe will be passing through on Sunday. They don't care at all about football, but they're interested in seeing what the vibe is like watching the game. They've also never been to Boulder. I'm looking for three recommendations
Football: I was thinking Dark Horse? Anyone have any better ideas? Somewhere crowded with a fun atmosphere.
Also, since we'll probably just watch half the game or whatever, can you think of anything else that would be especially cool to do while everyone else is busy watching the game?
They're not big hikers or anything. Hiking Sanitas wouldn't be fun for them, for example. But can you think of any good really easy outdoorsy Boulder hikes that wouldn't be strenuous and would offer good views of the Flatirons and the city?
Thanks!
Moving out of a house and curious if anyone knows of a good cleaning service. Tricky thing is though I would need it today and know that’s a little against the grain.
Is the office of equity trustworthy or do their jobs to protect the student from discrimination or for people with disabilities there? Any experiences? I see a lot of bad press about the school. Whats your experience with OE?
Posting for a friend - FYI found a black JBL earbud half in a puddle in the parking lot at CU South around 6:15pm today. It was still blinking a blue light (still functioning!). Put it on the flat rock with found items by the lot.
Hi! Does anyone have an Old Man Winter Rally bib they aren’t using for the running portion of the race? I’d love to snag if you can’t make it anymore. Let me know! ❤️

I took a painting class at Tinker a few years ago and got really into it. I’ve been painting in oils on weekends as time allows ever since. My skills have improved with practice, but I could use some feedback. I would love to take an oil painting workshop or class on the weekends but don’t want to spend too much. I see that the Boulder School of Fine Arts has a month-long intro class and a Next Steps class. I would be interested in the latter since I’ve already learned the basics. I emailed them last week to ask whether the intro class is a prerequisite for the other one and haven’t heard back yet. Does anyone have experience with them or with any other local classes/studios that you would recommend?
Hey r/boulder, does your shop or office have a sweet pack of pups that comes to work daily? I'd be curious to know where the dogs enjoy work days the most!
They keep throwing trash in my driveway
Hi all! Anybody know of a good university/college student-led band that might want to perform at an event of around 400 people, supporting wildlife conservation, this April? Thanks!

Did one of your favorites not make the cut? Let us know in the comments. Maybe we can convince him to make it into a top 30 list! 😉
We live 2 blocks from this school and are considering sending our boy there in the fall when he is 3. Does anyone have any reviews on the school? I couldn’t find much online. We took a tour and it seemed nice but there were TVs in the classrooms and we don’t do screen time. They said they don’t use them often but I saw one of the upstairs room (apparently the day care) had it on! It was a nice sunny day at 10am so I don’t really get that. Any feedback is appreciated!
I have a pair of high quality MSR showshoes with a bunch of missing rivets.
Does anybody know of a local business that will repair rivets, or does anyone have a riven gun and wanna give it a shot?
Since my last post was removed, let me be clear that I am looking for recommendations that have a connection to, or are located in Boulder, and/or relatively near large rocks.
I am making a concerted effort to support local businesses whose values are similar to that of a B-corp, whether or not they are actually certified.
I am also looking to avoid any businesses who do not promote equality, inclusion, and sustainability.
Suddenly not seeing them in Whole Foods. Customer service didn’t have anyone who knew.
Sad if they’ve disappeared as they were my original introduction to breakfast burritos when I first came to Boulder 😢
I gifted my mom and sister Liberty puzzles over the Holidays and acquired a new healthy addiction. I currently have several animal puzzles (sue coccia) and am looking for locals to temporarily swap with. Please dm with a private chat message if interested. Thank you kindly.
Does anyone know of any needle working or stitching groups for things like needlepoint or cross stitch in the Boulder area? I know of some in Denver but was trying to look for groups closer.
Wondering where I can get a really good matcha latte. Thanks!
Anyone had success with any clinics/programs/doctors in the area?
