I've looked nearly everywhere for anyone with a similar issue. I believe this may extend from using SongShift to try to move some playlists from Spotify to Apple Music, but I have multiple empty playlists showing on my library view in my Tesla M3. These have no song data in them (empty) and show the default grey music note icon on the screen. It's not the biggest issue in the world, but I would love to get rid of these as they clutter up my library. They are not showing in the AM app on my phone or on my computer. Has anyone had a similar issue?

So I have a ton of old music from my teenage years(all mp3s) from the likes of limewire and such. I even have them in a folder on my MacBook. Just trying to figure out how to put those in my Apple Music playlist, or if there’s an app that exists where I can play those files specifically. Thanks in advance.

There’s even a bootleg version available in the Shrek 2 album. But the Jennifer Saunder’s version? There is nothing to be found.

I'm a Spotify user and have considered switching to AM as I have an iPhone and has better integration, on top of having radio support and paying the artists better. Plus I'm hearing about a Spotify price hike and on top of their other bs choices this may be my final straw. I do have some questions however

• Is there a wrapped equivalent? My music listening is tracked by lastfm anyways but I still like the event of wrapped
• if I buy an album via iTunes can I listen to it offline?
• Can you still add your own music/files like you used to be able to do via iTunes?
• Can I still find select podcasts like I did on Spotify like BlindBoyBoatClub

I had been using Apple Music without any issues for years on Android until the update of the first of May was released. Since then, any song won't be played when I'm on cellular data. When there's a queue the app just skips all the songs. When there's only one song the app pauses it. I just have to connect to a Wi-Fi and everything works then. OR, I also can connect to a VPN using cellular data, thus the app will play too.

A few days ago I tried to reinstall the app. It's worth mentioning that it fixed my problem but now it's the same thing.

NO, I didn't set any limits on mobile data in the app's settings.

NO, there aren't any restrictions from the system.

YES, my connection is fine.

This thing never happened before, it all came with the update of the first of May from Google Play. I want to know, is there anyone facing the same problem? Also, where can I report so they really will look into it and I won't get an automatic response?

Hi there! Someone knowledgeable in this subject help me out? Here's the issue: I've been using Apple Music as my primary music streaming service for a long time, and I frequently enjoyed Dolby Atmos content. Recently, for some reasons, I switched to Amazon Music, and Dolby Atmos sounds different here. I'm not sure, perhaps a different mixing(?). Can someone explain to me the reason for this difference? Is it a decision by the record label? Or does Amazon Music have some compatibility feature for D.A. that Apple Music doesn't have? (and vice versa).

Note: I read somewhere on Reddit that Apple Music's Dolby Atmos isn't the "true Dolby Atmos." What does that mean?"

I'm clicking on items in my library and nothing is playing. I can only play things from the store if I browse to them. I can't figure out what is going on.

I can play playlists from Apple's store, but most of the items in my library do not play. I can play Band-Maid Essentials (Apple Music playlist) but I can't play those same songs from my playlist.

Uninstalling did not fix the problem either.

Yes, my computer is authorized. I reauthorized it just to make sure. I don't get any error messages, just nothing happens when I press play.

Good afternoon AppleMusic Reddit - I've got some individual songs that I've downloaded the "iTunes Match" version of, and I would like to force iTunes to update the tags to reflect the version that iTunes actually matched, and not the Metadata of the version that was previously stored locally - this is for iTunes for Windows v12.13.2.3.

Is it possible within iTunes itself to "sync" the tags?

Hey guys, I've been struggling to use the Apple Music Windows App since launch because of the "skipping songs without even playing" bug. Clean installing windows works, but too extreme. So after trying everything, here is my solution (works every time on my end) :

• Quit Apple Music (make sure the device used is authorized first of course)
• Open "Volume mixer"
• Scroll down to "Reset sound devices and volumes for all apps"
• Open Apple Music and test any song

Voila, have fun !

I have a big ass playlist with my favorite songs and I always sort it by the newest added tracks at the top. When I play the first song on my iPhone it then proceeds with the second song, so far so good. When I use the desktop app (Windows) and sort my playlist the same way that doesn't work. When I play the 2nd song on the list it proceeds with the first song, not the 3rd. Basically the frontend shows a different order than what the playlist is in the backend.

Am I maybe doing something wrong? It worked in the old iTunes app and on my Mac it's no issue as well

I prefer to manually add my own music to my iphone (15) through itunes. I've put a couple thousand songs on there and I can assure you they have proper metadata, and I've had the same files on previous iphones without an issue.

I just added them all to my 15 and when I look at them in itunes the artist name displays fine, but on my phone, I literally have six artists showing. For some reason almost ALL of these songs are showing as being by Frente! There's one song each by Annie Golden, Vanessa Williams and 20 Fingers that show up under the correct artist name. There are a few songs correctly attributed to Lizzo and then inexplicably one Ed Sheeran song also showing as Lizzo.

I'm just baffled as to what's happening let alone how to fix it.
