I've been trying to listen to music more on my mac. I want to keep my music showing with lyrics in the corner of my screen.
The default player is okay but it has limited option for sizes. Like if I shrink the miniplayer too much, the lyrics aren't shown anymore. I also can't pick music using the mini player.
The full app also insists on taking a lot of my screen which also irks me.
I was considering Cider but I'm not sure if this will solve my issue and I have no way to test the app before buying.
Why won’t my replay work? I double checked it’s my user name and password too. It just says I haven’t listened to enough music, but I listened a bit every day. Granted it’s mostly the same band, does this matter?
I'm experiencing something weird on my Mac. Recent releases seem to play, but there's no song.
Let's say I have a playlist going. The next three songs are from 2021, 2024, 2017. The one from 2024 will be silent. The Music app will show the timer rolling, and the progress bar is moving forward, but there's no sound. Then the next song, which is older, plays normally.
If I delete a shared playlist, it's still in the library of people who added it (along with my name under it).
I was wondering if unsubscribing and having your library wiped, also deletes those shared playlists or at least disconnects them from your name/profile?
I got 63k mins but only 526 artists i feel like its quite low
I'm a fairly new convert (iTunes OG, then Spotify, now Apple Music). There are issues! Today's discovery is that a not-insignificant number of songs in my playlists are greyed out and not available on my Mac desktop app, and visible but not able to add to playlists from Apple Music. (One example is a lot of songs from Teenage Fanclub.) But they are accessible from my phone and able to play. I have syncing turned on, and I'm running Sequoia. Any ideas?
i go to favorite an artist and then five seconds later it will randomly unfavorite it. anyone else have this issue? any fixes?
edit: it's not every artist, just some of them
I favorite albums I want to listen to and unfavorite them after I’ve listened to them. Recently I’ve been having some problems with certain albums re-favoriting themselves.
Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution?

If this is the wrong sub, feel free to show me the correct sub :) thx.
I am paying for apple tv+ and the 50gb cloud thing and audible. Mom (mid 80s) has apple tv+ and apple music and 50 gb cloud thing Fiancé has spotify and 50 gb cloud.
I thought about getting an appleone subscription to get tv+ and music and 50 or 200gb. Neither me not any other needs or wants fitness or arcade.
If i am subscribing, creating a familyaccount and add them to the family, do they have to do anything on their end? Like ending their own subscription (spotify for sure) or accepting something or is it running on it’s own from scratch?
Thanks in advance for helpful information.
Hi! I’ve had Apple Music for years and I just recently got a new iPhone. I transferred all my data with no problems and the only thing I’ve noticed is that single one of my playlists I made on Apple Music is completely gone??? And it’s only ONE, all the others I’ve made are there except this specific one. I’ve logged back in and out and everything, I can’t find it anywhere. Has this happened to anyone else and did you fix it??
I’m so sad because of course it my most played one!
must the little mod ppl not like my music 😂 others music posts are not getting deleted ??
I have a ton of audiobooks ripped onto my computer, and they’re all listed with the author as the artist. Now, I know I listened to at least 8 books by the same author this year, and some of them were over 50 hours long. And yet, he doesn’t appear on my Replay. Does it only look at the music that’s available on Apple Music streaming instead of your whole iTunes library?
Hi, after using Apple Music back in 2015 and 2016, I switched back after a long decade of transferring my music manually to my iPhone. I would like to continue changing the metadata of my tracks to acommodate with my track naming conventions and physical album covers on Apple Music, but one question remains:
Do customized tracks and albums still appear on Apple Music Replay?
I plan on changing album covers, track artists (not aIbum artists) and track titles. I don’t mind if they appear with the original source metadata, as long as streams are being properly counted and reflected on Replay.
Can anyone share their experience with this topic based on this year’s Replay? Thanks in advance!
This sounds creepy but trust me it's not. I guess that I find it fascinating what others listen to. I rarely actually listen to the playlists but I enjoy seeing what favorite artists I have in common with others.
