Hi there hello.

im not sure why adobe ended muse, but i still find it very useful, since i can't wrap my head around coding. but as time progresses, the third-party plugins and widgets that used to be available for it are starting to disappear or get wiped from the internet. i was wondering if anyone has their plugins still around, if they'd be willing to send them to me. i'd love to make a repository on the Internet Archive that anyone could access should they want to use Muse again.

Trying to find something to replace muse, idealy outside of the adobe family. Muse was working until I switched from college's account to my own, and could not fix it

Successfully transferred the Muse app from my old MacBook to my new Mac. Made copies of the App file because none of the third-party links worked for me.

I've been on a website hiatus the last year because I got a new Mac and have been trying to install Muse... with no luck. I even made a brand new Adobe account and purchased the All Apps plan, and still did not get the "Show older apps" toggle option to show up anywhere. No agent could help me.

I went on an expedition to find my old MacBook (I left it behind at my parents because it wouldn't even turn on towards the end.) Well I did the ole "smack and charge" trick, and it actually turned on.

I got the Adobe Muse app file on an external hard drive.... it was pretty full, but it had plenty of room for the 1GB~ app and it successfully made it on to my external drive.Well it got to 1.06GB of 1.09GB during the transfer to my iMac applications folder, took a few extra minutes, and finally just errored out and the external disappeared from the Finder and wouldn't show up anymore after re-plugging it in a few times. It started to audibly and physically turn on, but wouldn't show up.Fuxk.Eventually I plugged it back into my MacBook laptop.. and it did show up there. All is well, somewhere.

So I grab my other external drive. Newer, not as full. Same thing... transfer it successfully onto external. Try again on my iMac, but this time onto my desktop first.This time, it was a true success! I dragged it into my apps folder, and I opened it up.

Just wanted to share this because I spent all week going through 4 different CC plans with the Customer Service agents (3 refunds) trying to find this damn program. The website literally says it's still available.... but ultimately I just had to go find the App from my old MacBook.

I am back in the Muse game, and I'm so happy.If I don't update this, it means the FTP upload worked too.

is the there a Muse widget which would change , say, an Excel sheet of dates into a calendar ?

I'm doing it for a theatre company who regularly add dates over the course of a tour.

I had to do a reinstall of Muse and everything seemed to go fine. But now when you try to open the program it seems to start and then just flashes and closes.

Does anyone out there have a clue on this issue?

I am considering updating to Windows 11 but am concerned Muse will stop working altogether. Is anyone on Windows 11? We are in the process of updating the site and going away from Muse, but it isn't finalized.

For some reason my website is showing as not secure because

"This site does not have a certificate.

Because this connection is not secure, information (such as passwords or credit cards) will not be securely sent to this site and may be intercepted or seen by others."

I don't know the cause of this. It's a very basic Muse website with embedded OAM (Adobe Animate) content. Is it Muse or Animate that is causing this issue?

This is making it unavailable for Safari users. I haven't done anything complex in Muse itself.

I'm working with a client and they have a website that was created on adobe muse. Wanted to see if anyone can point me into any good directions on where to go from here. For right now all I need to do for the client is add a few new thing, anyone know how I can run this code locally? I only have the source code from cpanel.

I'm still using Muse. I realize I'm operating on borrowed time. This morning after making a handful of updates, my Upload to FTP Host sequence got stuck on the "checking for site changes" step (the wheel here keeps spinning). Is this a death sentence? Any advice on how to fix something that may be awry to get my updates going, while I transition to something new?

Ive been off adobe services for a few years and just went back around christmas, bought a domain name through amazon webservices and have been slowly making a site through this old program (Muse) that i used to love, because im familiar with it. Site is closed to finished but did i shoot myself in the foot? I know Adobe abandoned Muse, but does anyone in this group still use it? Tell me everything will be ok, please.

I've pretty much finished a site that had the MuseXpress Booking plugin that works with WordPress. I went to try and upload it to Bluehost but the booking calendar isn't showing up at all. I've set up the plugin with WordPress so there is a service and form available. I've also, on the muse side, typed in the web address and slug. Whenever I try to look for help online,the official plugin site has shut down support for the application. Any suggestions?

I've been trying to search but i'm not sure if I just don't know enough to use the right terms. I've got a rectangle that has a png with a transparent background in it. I want to trigger a rollover effect but ideally only when the cursor is on the filled in part of the image, not when it's on the transparent part.

Is there a way to mask around it or use something like a pen tool to draw the activation area?

I’ve been using Muse for my website for quite some time now. Just got a brand new laptop, installed Creative Cloud and Muse but it won’t launch past the splash screen. I’m at the end of my rope here — I’ve tried everything I’ve found online to fix it. Uninstalled/reinstalled, changed permissions, launch as admin, older versions, holding shift while launching, etc. Anybody else have this problem? Any known solutions?

I would like to update from Mohave but wanted to double check if people had problems with the latest and last release of Muse. Thank you in advance.

Hey all! Now that we're 6 months away from Adobe ceasing support for Adobe Muse, I'm guessing most people have migrated to a new software. What options have to you all found to switch over to? I love the flexibility of Adobe Muse, and how much variety I can incorporate in my designs.

Additionally, are there any programs you can just directly transfer muse files into?

Back when muse was alive and kicking i decided to make MuseGrape. If you know what it is great! if you dont, it was a source for free and unique widgets. Unfortunately i have not updated or added any more ever since the end of Muse. Shame.. that could have been something. Anyways, the widgets are still up and they still work. all free, feel free to download.

Is it possible to make a standard page a master page? I've tried selecting all and pasting into the master page, but it does not select the changes I've made for different break points. Please let me know how, if this is possible. Thanks!

For the one other person out there, like me, that'sare still using Adobe Muse and have been struggling with getting rid of the blank space on the right (Skip straight to #4 if you've tried everything else:)

1. Make sure that there isn't any anchors or items off the main design area of any breakpoints, even if they're hidden.

2. Make sure that everything is pinned correctly, including compositions since they tend to automatically pin to the left

3. Try to changing any "Stretch to browser width" objects to "Responsive width"

I've been trying to figure this out for weeks. I've tried using this code, which did get rid of the extra scrollbar, but it ended up hiding my footer element. Here it is:

I am trying to create a site for a competition and I am having trouble where the site won't fill the entire screen. I attached a screenshot. How do I fix this? Also, this may be important but I am using a 4K monitor (3840 x 2160).

I'm trying to set up two master pages. They will both have the same objects and one will be set as the master of the other. The only difference between the two is that one master page will have a footer of 40-70 px and the other will not have any footer.

So far, I haven't been able to accomplish this with the setup I've described. The only way has been to create duplicate master pages and adjust the footer space on each of them. Basically, what I'm trying to do is eliminate the need to update duplicate master pages and be able to adjust the space between the footer and the bottom items on the master page.

I'm building a mock up of a mobile site and one of the nice things about Muse is you can throw stuff together without coding. I made an drop down accordion mobile menu and now they want the "fly in from the left" off-canvas style menu. I don't want to have to spend $$ on this by buying a third-party widget as it's just a mock up, so has anyone ever built one one of these things from scratch using Muse's native features?
