Any ideas? Thanks
I want the rotobrushing tool from AE but hate transferring clips back and forth. Is there perhaps a third party program designed for Ai-Masking (that is reasonably efficient compared to the AE transferring)? that would be SUPER useful THANK YOU!
Beginner question,
I've downloaded couple of Font packs from envato that supports alternate ligature but it seems to not work in Premiere. I've tried it in text boxes and captions and also turned on/off the ligature settings but it still not working. Is there a solution for this?
I have an ASUS laptop (32gb of RAM, AMD Ryzen 5, RX 560X) I am a video editor, I mainly use Premiere and After Effects.
My current laptop is already being limited, even with 4K projects I have problems exporting since it restarts
My question is, does the new Mac Mini M4 base significantly improve the laptop I have? I’ve never bought a Mac, the only thing I have from Apple is the iPhone haha
Hi, is it possible to downgrade my premier pro to 2024? Not just a project but the entire software?
If so, how can I do it because I really dislike the new premier pro.
I am currently editing under the new update, and did not have this issue yesterday. Currently, I am running with three audio tracks, and normally work with up to five or more. However, audio track one is exclusively playing out of my left ear- and audio track two is exclusively in my right ear. Audio tracks three and up are not playing audio through preview at all.
I've played around with sequence settings, audio hardware, and audio settings, and can't figure out a way to be able to preview all the audio in the timeline.
When I listen to the source audio or video, it's perfectly fine in "Soure:EXAMPLE_VIDEO", and the audio tracks display mono channel for each individual track.
I've not had this issue in my years of using Premiere Pro, and feel like I'm missing something easy to fix this. Any help would be great :)
Hello, i have a problem with PR that make my composition black idk why
- I've tested the cache things
- My drivers are updated/windows 11 also
- I have reinstalled
I have the same bug on CapCupt and AE, idk what to do anymore pls help
Windows 10
5900X
128GB RAM
Nvidia 3070.
Working on an 8-camera hourlong MC, all using Prores Proxies off an internal M2
It always winds up like clockwork so it must be some garbage that is building up somewhere. For those of you not familiar with the bug, basically the premiere display stops updating, your mouse trails, windows that open are glitched, etc.
I have just upgraded to Premiere 2025, Placing audio in timeline, adds the audio which can be scrubbed through and heard in playback but cannot be seen in the timeline itself. Any fixes? Thankyou!
(In the video attached, I forgot to allow OBS audio access to my desktop therefore there isn't any audio but I can hear the audio while scrubbing through my timeline)
I’m trying to use Ultra Key to remove the background of a video. There are a few different colors in it. Once I take out one color, I try to do the next one, but Adobe brings back the color I just removed. Even if I export and import the video, Premiere seems to remember what color they removed previously, and they bring it back before I can remove another color.
If there are any other ways to remove a background that isn’t a solid color, that would work just as well!
Hey there, sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything with Google search or search on this Reddit.
I am running into an issue where audio effects are changing on their own. For example, I'll set audio clips to Podcast Voice in the Audio Essentials panel, and then continue working in a different part of the timeline. When I go back to review my work, the audio that I changed earlier has completely different effects and audio levels. My audio clips will be have Large Reflective Room reverb added, when I never even touched the reverb settings. Any ideas?
I'm working on Version 24.6.1 (Build 2) on a newer Macbook Pro.
Hi was wondering if anyone could help me, I am a beginner editor so I don't really know all of the terms for it. I'm trying to edit a 5 minute video and add subtitles to it but when I add text layer/ legacy title, my clip audio suddenly isn't in sync with the video anymore and the audio is like distorted and it becomes laggy in general. This only happens for the segment where the text layer is placed though.
I have a MSI Laptop Windows 11 with the graphics driver NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050
Thing's I've done to try and fix this:
- Set the playback resolution in the Program Monitor to 1/16
- Render In and Out
- Cleared Cache and Memory:
- Changed the Renderer from Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only. (and changed it to the other stuff to try as well)
- Tried Nesting Text Layers
- Updated graphic drivers
Basically I've done everything to reduce lag that I've seen on youtube. But srsly this lag ONLY happens when I add text and everything else is fine. Would rly appreciate any help thank you!!
I’ve been trying to extend a song with essential sound but when I do it just loops a part and the lyrics can’t be heard. Is there a way to extend a song without this happening in premiere?
I have been working on a video for a couple months and went to open it today and the interview section within the sequence appears black on the playback and there's no audio. What's strange is I can see the original clip and pull it into source and it shows up. I just updated to Premiere version 25.0 and am using a mac with Ventura 13.6.7. I have tried updated the project settings render to software only, deleting old memory cache. Nothing is working!!! I am not very techy, wish I was, so I would LOVE some help
Hey all!
I have to flatten my sequence to export an EDL for color. Is there a way to lock the timeline horizontally so I can quickly flatten the sequence without having to worry about accidentally moving cuts?
I know you can do this in audition, so I was hoping there is a way in premiere. If anyone has a better workflow, please share!
Thank you!
So I generated captions and now I want them all to be yellow. How do I do that without clicking on each single caption separately? Thank you
I have had big performance issues since upgrading to the latest version of Premiere. In preferences I have reserved 39 (out of 64) GB of memory for Premiere, but my Activity Monitor is showing 105+ GB of memory in use by Premiere. The app is running incredibly slowly and is basically unusuable.
My timeline is fairly simple with just three files, although on file is 7gb. I am using proxies. The project file is 205mb. The program monitor is often unresponsive, and sometimes even blank.
I am running:
- Apple M1 Max
- 64 GB memory
- Version 25.0.0
Is this a known issue? Something I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
Hoping someone can assist with an issue that has arisen spontaneously within a project.
I have a large documentary production containing several projects. The majority of the media consists of long multi cam interviews set up as mulit-cam source sequences, with 2-3 video tracks each, original dialogue ch3&4, cleaned dialogue (Adobe Enhance, carried out using the online tool, not the Prem-native tool) on ch1&2.
Everything has been fine with it until today. When I opened the project, the dialogue was missing from many of the interview clips. On investigation, it turns out that most, but not all, of the audio files returned from Adobe Enhance no longer contain audio when played back within Premiere, and the waveforms are not visible.
Weirder still, I opened a backup of the project (whole project, including all media, on a separate drive) that also was previously fine, and that is now suffering the same issue.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
