Just like the title says, my game has just recently started freezing randomly and my GPU spikes to 100% usage. I have a RTX 4080 which normally never goes above 20% while on wow. Seems to be completely random as to when it'll happen. anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I've updated my drivers and I've tried repairing the game files and neither have fixed the issue.

I hate this ability so much. From a theme standpoint. What is making this weapon spin in place? Warriors in wow are suppose to be you're archetypal, "My magic is centered around having a 1000 lbs bench as a warm-up. Come at me." I can stretch my imagination for most of the more fantastical abilities. Thunder Clap has lighting because of how hard you stop, causing static electricity. That roar CD that does damage works because youre being a beligerant a-hole as a hobby so you neutrally get good enough at shouting in people's face to do damage. But what in the name of Odyn is making that weapon spin in a tight circle? Flick your wrist on release so hard it boomerangs? Iunno. Don't like it. What is your take on it? Love it, hate it, don't care just like the DMG.

Little background: I haven't played WoW since mid of 2018. Quit shortly after BfA was released. Tried Dragonflight a few hours during a free weekend, but decided the game is not for me anymore...

Fast forward to now. Tier 2 revamp (played a Ret Pally since Vanilla Beta and just couldn't miss out on the updated set) brought me back for what I thought was a one time resub with ingame gold.
Now I'm playing through the Dragonflight campaign and I'm having a blast! The Dragon Isles are just so damn beautiful. Azur Span is giving me Grizzly Hill vibes. The whole continent and the system just seem polished and nice to play in/with. Maybe I missed out for the past two years?

Anyway, I'm now strongly considering to also buy TWW. But what makes me considering to purchase the new addon also worries me most. The Dragon Isles Zones and the good time I'm having in them. Recently went to Zaralek Cavern for the first time and the initial impression for me was the opposite to the upper world zones. Meh at best.

I've read plenty of times, that TWW zones (especially Hallowfall) are some of the best ever made. But the whole experience I just had with Dragonflight just worries me to really purchase the new Addon due to it being almost entirely underground.

Any subjective feedback from players who thought the same like me? Were your worries confirmed or do the new zones and content live up to the standards Drognflight has set?

I have the base form from back in legion, but I don’t really pvp. Are rated bgs something you can realistically pug, or would I have to buy a carry or join a pvp guild?

If I'm in any form and cast any spell that brings me out of form I get no animation for any cast.

Ex. I'm in bear form. Cast hearthstone, brings me out of form and I'm just standing there with hands at my sides. No spell animation or anything. If I didn't have a cast bar I wouldn't know I was doing anything.

Does this with any spell. If I'm not in any form and perform the spell then I get the animation.

Anyone else having this issue?

Hey, I'm using Quazii's palter, how can I set the allies' life bar to be displayed after entering m+? The only thing I miss in his version, the rest is perfect. The shortcuts Ctrl + V and other shortcuts for turning namplates on and off do nothing

I have been in 2 dungeons in the past 3 days or so where despite doing 40% of the damage I had something where I went AFK for, about 1 minute (in one case i just got d/c'd in the other i had something of a family situation had to get up) in both cases, I was gone for about 30 seconds to a minute (though in the case of the d/c i dont even think i was gone long enough for the game to log out my character, i would have just stopped moving) and i was kicked almost instantly.

Not to be twisted, afk is a leginimate reason to kick someone, but particularly now that even being kicked from a dungeon incurrs a deserter debuff (because the playerbase cant handle gearing without being toxic to the rest of the players apparently), it is VERY annoying to get kicked for relatively no reason

I want to start a new alt character and I’m debating if I should just buy the quite expensive boost for real money or just invest the time to level up a new character.. Let’s say I’m spamming dungeons, how much time would it take realistically assuming I’m a casual player and probably won’t min max to be the most time efficient..? Thanks

I just had an odd encounter. I have WM on and got attacked by a rogue that did not really do much dmg. But the odd thing was, he was marked green / friendly all through the encounter and I could not attack him, although he was from the other faction.

Never had something like this happen. Is this a known issue?

I am so frustrated these days for the condition in pugs, and I am starting to understand why nobody or just a minor number of players, want to tank.

Dps are so toxic in pug... seriously just telling 2 episodes of yesterday...

NW, we was blasting it , we arrived after the bridge and i did the 2 on the right ( i was trying a different route ) , the elemental shaman say "wtf bro we don't need these " and casts chain lightning on the pack he wanted to pull ( patrol ).

Somehow I was able to put a sigil and aggro them...

Results? while walking to me, Frontal kill 3 dps , and the rogue left saying

"Tank please don't tank face on the party...."

Second episode:

Ara kara, priest disci which doesn't have idea of how to heal, I did a big pull at one point, mostly because had everything available...

After 25 seconds I died, and we wipe

Everyone starts to blame me saying tank wtf???

Now I did this pull 40 times already never died, checking healing done

Me 1.6+m (DH) , priest disci 248k , in a 10s? He was actually same as the evoker aug just for info... meanwhile I understand perfectly that discipline is not a tank healer and as DH the damage spike outside of cds is high... but atleast some ...

Now my point is, why everything happen the tank should be blamed? Please stop it unless is really tank fault ...

These are just 2 random episodes, which are slowing becoming normality... my idea is actually that this meta is making people crazy, or do I am wrong? This is my first season tanning, does it is the normality?

500 Trader’s Tender reward (November 2024, Traveler’s Log) but when i opened chest (Alliance, Stormwind City) first time this month i got 500 Trader’s Tender (that’s before any completion from November 2024’s Traveler’s Log) and not 1000 TT from last month Traveler’s Log and not the ones I received this month after playing the game after they were unlocked.

What do i do?…

I have been leveling tanks and healers in 2-3 hours using timewalking dungeons but the queue times for dps seems pretty insane and i was wondering how everyone else was leveling dps classes. Are there any queues worth doing over timewalking dungeons?

How long does it take to setup these level 11 random dungeon farmers? I got lucky and queued with a level 11 monk tonight that got an alt from 72 to 80 in a fairly short gaming session. I already have another account linked that I use for AH stuff so I have a place to drop the character.

Are they just locking xp at level 11 and then just accepting whatever gear happens to drop and then mostly taking advantage of the crazy scaling?

Its already a time gated quest which I can deal with but only having it available to just on Saturday feels pretty unfair. Would be nice if it was up for two days out of the week. They already made it much more difficult to earn the few nice items from the vendor. I'm confused why they would go with this decision.

The bag of tricks buff won't be enough to get them out of the bottom of the race DPS charts. It's a super simple solution to make them not bottom and it makes sense (foxes=fast)

A week ago, I started playing WoW again and bought the new expansion. However, I didn't realize what I was doing, and I ended up in Orgrimmar, but it seems like I'm in a different timeline. The NPCs appear in yellow, the vendor and transmogrifier aren’t there, and when I try to play with my Horde friends, they disappear; they only show up in the embassy. To top it off, I can’t fly with any mount in Dornogal. What can i do? I already sent a ticket.

I a retail player currently bored of retail so I want to try the classic servers. Does classic still get updates and is it worth playing? I would rather play it over Cata but if it's dying out then I could try Cata. I saw cata's road map and know I've missed much but better late than never! I have not played either so I would be going in fresh.
